Account Sitting Password

Okay, here's my suggestion. I think that each account should have an alternate password, and if a person logs in with it they can only take turns but can't send PMs, use live chat, the forums, leave feedback and possibly game chat (Though that might be a stretch).
This password can only be changed by the main password, and it can't be used to change the main password (obviously).
The idea is that when people are account-sitting, they might not want to give away their real password in case they're using it for other things like their e-mail or such. Also, they wouldn't want their friends pretending to be them and playing pranks and such.
Comments and criticisms are appreciated

Why not just change your password before you give it to the account sitter?

exactly what I was thinking, I think this idea is terrible. If you dont want to give the account-sitter your real password, change your password and then give them that password. Then change it back when you're done

yes that would be easy, but i think the idea was two fold, to make it so they have very limited access to your account

If you dont trust the person that is account-sitting, then you chose a bad sitter. Choose someone you trust and this isnt a problem

I agree with the above post, plus I'm not sure of feasability of limiting an 'account sitter' access to only your games.

I like this idea, because some people might not know people very well, and want to give it to someone they only know over the net, but aren't completely sure if they're trustable. I also think not being able to make/join new games would be a good part of this...

If they don't know anybody online, then they should have a real life friend or family member account sit. I stand by my previous arguments

Because they could change the changed password and steal your account.
I guess people deserve more credit for trustworthiness than I give them.

If this friend/family member doesn't play CC themselves, why would they want to/know how to sit for an account...that's a silly idea
On another game i saw a good way of having sitters, in the settings page you could assign a maximum of 2 people to sit your account, and you could sit for a maximum of 2 people, and then you could sign in with their username and your password, with limited features on the account. I think this would be a good idea here, limiting the access to just taking turns.

Then find someone who does play CC who you trust
I still hate this idea

Love the idea. This should be implemented immediately.

I have 4 or 5 account sitters.
Who cares if they steal your account, you're involved too much if you care that much.
