Best of 3 Tournament or "You're Eliminated"

16 players 1-vs-1

Win 2 out of 3 to advance otherwise "You're Eliminated"

First round will be seeded players, 1-16 with the highest points playing the next highest on so on (based on points at sign-up time). all rounds will consist of 3 games against your opponent where the winner of 2 games will advance to the next round in a 1-vs-1.

Please choose 1 map for one of the 3 games and your oppenant will have thier choice of 1, the 3rd game in the round will be the classic map.

All will be flat rate, Unlimited, seq.

I will send a PM out with the game numbers and password for each (you will have 48 hours to sign in or risk being replaced)

all players may join, however any non-premium players will need to have 3 open slots to play till end of tourney or untill "You're Elimintated"

Reserves will be needed in case a player is taking more than 48 hours to join their appointed game. (replaced upon my discretion so notify me if a problem accurs and you can't play)

Format is similar to "Optimus Prime's point grabbers" but with a 2 out of 3 win differance

As for the home map, let's go with....Ireland.

I'm assuming for each match-up you are going to create the first two games of the series and only create the "Classic Map" third game if necessary?

If I get this correctly - you are also seeding differently.

You're going to seed 1 to 16, but your bracket will be like this:

Round 1
A. 1 v 2
B. 3 v 4
C. 5 v 6
D. 7 v 8
E. 9 v 10
F. 11 v 12
G. 12 v 14
H. 15 v 16

Round 2
Winner A v Winner B
Winner C v Winner D
Winner E v Winner F
Winner G v Winner H

Round 3
Winner AB v Winner CD
Winner EF v Winner GH

Championship
Winner ABCD v Winner EFGH

This way potentially the most points on the line in the first round is 25 or so. It also guarantees that a high rated player and a low rated player move on to the second round.

My first round match in Point Grabbers 5, I put about 52 points on the line to gain 9. Next round won't be so bad [If I win against Gilligan - I pretty much break even].

Let me know if this is indeed what you plan on doing, if so I'll go in with Age of Merchants

Yes that looks correct,
First round will be like this- the 2 highest points players will play each other. then each pair will be likewise all the way down to 15-vs-16 who will be the 2 lowest points players
