SUPER POINT GRABBERS TOURNAMENT

This tournament is the big brother of the original Point Grabbers Series. It will feature 32 players divided into two separate 16-player brackets by score. Within each bracket the players will be seeded by their score at the time the tournament is deemed full and ready to begin.

The games for this tournament will be 1 vs 1, Sequential, Flat Rate Cards, and Chained Fortifications. I realize the the No Cards setting was used for Point Grabbers V, but all of the others have been Flat Rate, so that is what I am going with for this one.

The winners of each of the two brackets will face off in a best-of-three series to determine the Super Point Grabbers Champion.
Bracket A: Top 16 players by score.
Bracket B: Bottom 16 players by score.

Maps by round are as follows:

First Round: Ireland
Second Round: Phillippines
Third Round: WWII Eastern Front
Finals: Global Warming
Best-of-Three Series: British Isles

Haha Greece has a point there. There is no Super reigning champ. lol.

Oh and I just knocked out lalaland to get a first round victory.

Interesting that the thread disappeared though. I just spent some time looking for it too.

Hey I got a message from Optimus this morning, he's working on getting the thread back, he accidentally made it go away, but it will return. Also I won my first round game against Godd. I got really lucky, played badly but he got horrible dice so i won. Guess you could say beings that i won that I'm a Conquerer of Godd.........hehehehehhee

Ok, cheesy i know, but hey it was funny......

Considering that he was the #1 seed, that would probably be an upset.
I'm looking forward to having a rematch (hopefully) with spidey in round 2.

My apologies to all of you, I had been trying out some of my newly granted powers this morning and managed to mess things up pretty royally. However, I figured out what went wrong this afternoon during a chat with Twill, and it shouldn't happen again anytime soon. ;)

I'll be getting the new brackets, redoing this first post and merging your thread you guys are using to report games with this one as soon as I get the chance in the morning.

I was up super late last night and I'm about to die, so I'm going to get you back up to speed as soon as I can.

Is the original thread gone gone as there were some fun posts in it jut wondering?

PS it will be a long, long, time before my 1st round game is over as my opponent seems to be a strict one move a day guy. That said I don't mind how long it takes as long as I get the right result. :wink:
