I played a game today where I was left with just 4 territories owned, and went on to win the game in one go (Thank god it was a sequential game) - taking out people as i went and taking their cards

Red rocks. Starting games always helps to hone your advantage.

I like red because I can never find a singles double turn unlimited fortification asia/classic when I look. So I make my own.

I've gotten kind of used to red as well. I'm sure you guys have noticed that if you are the one to start a game you will get red. I wonder if you the second person in a game if that guarantees you will get green, or some other color?

...that's what I do!
I keep on making singles, double turn, unlimited fortification asia/classic/USA risk games, usually 3 players. Really fun.
Oh yeah, and Scarus, second player to join is green, and so on. Always the same pattern.

The colours remain the same for player 1 - 6

I like to make it riskier with more players. Sure, you lose a lot more, but you also net more points when you win.

This thread needs to be brought into the current decade to account for the new colours on the block - orange and slate.

I won a nuclear game the other day, coming back from having only 1 army. That, my friends, is what we call resilience. Or ya know, being a
Spawny Get.

I'm going with Red, simply because I play mainly 1vs1, and 1vs1's that I create! But if I could choose a color, I'd probably use Green.
