I think CC should give to its Tournament makers an offical title to Tournament makers who have made a certain amount of Tournaments. THis could be easily displayed above the avatar (where the mods have theirs!) they could also get ranking depending on how many Tournaments they have made!!
This would give players who want to enter a Tournament some information on how good a Tournament maker is in his role!!
This would also give Touranment makers something to aim for.

Can't say that I don't like the idea but it might make things messy and cause a lot of argues.
For example, if person A has made 10 tournaments with 16 players, person B 20 tournaments with 8 players, player C 5 tournaments with 32+ players and player D 1-2 huge tournaments (leagues that have 50+ players or that last for months and months) then they haven't made the same number of tournaments but they are more or less equal in my eyes.
But what could be done, is either bump into Blitzaholic's thread in GD or make our own top charts. And in there one area could be number of tournaments held. Other ideas for top 5s: longest tournament, most players one tournament, most players in all tournaments, etc etc.
And also maybe something like "Hall of Shame" with deadbeaters and abandoned tournaments (though it's a bit harsh actually because we should encourage people and not scare them away).
Cheers,
amazzony

The idea has some validity, hulmey, but truly it is somewhat impractical at the moment for the very reasons that amazzony points out. How do you grade the "goodness" of a tournament organizer? For example, there aren't many of you that are close to me in total tournaments run or completed, BUT at the same time, some of my tournaments have been small and quick while others are large and long. Finding the balance or criteria would be somewhat difficult.
That being said, official Conquer Club tournaments ARE something that will be happening in the future. Lack has said he has some ideas for official tournaments and so do a couple of others. None of those tournaments will be happening until Rivals gets announced however as that tool will make it exceptionally easier to put together because lots of things will be automated.
I do think the idea of Tournament Assistants as found in this thread:
http://www.conquerclub.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=29058
could still have some merit in the future when the Tournament Forums begin to grow past the size they are now, which is something I am confident will happen with the forum upgrade and with Rivals. Having a couple of folks in charge of making sure there are a couple of standard format tournaments available at all times would be of benefit, especially to the first time tournament players.

the idea behind having such rankings for Tournaments organisers would be to keep them interested in always progressing further and to keep these great Tournaments rolling in. Also so the general CC public can have an idea of the organisers ability before they enter a Tournament.
The ranking system for Tournament organisers could be on a points system
For Example :
Chief Tournie Organiser needs 100 points
Tournie Organiser needs 50 points
Junoir TTournie Organiser needs 20 points
and so on......
You could get 1 point for a Tournament with less than 20 games in it. 2 points for a Tournament with more than 50 games in it. You only get points for completed Tournaments and its up to the Tournament organsier to submit these points to the Tournament organiser (ie Optimus prime)...
