Play it by game type. If it's terminator or escalating cards, you'll need troops to make quick attacks, so put them on Siam. If you're only going to use them to defend and build up an army for later, then leave them on Indonesia.Finny wrote:lets say that i have oceana in the classic map, would it be better to have 10 on siam and five on indonesia or all of them on siam?

i leave on Siam, but always be sure to add 2 or 3 more each turn, so it wont get overpowered by neighboring armies.
EDIT: and i play Terminator, so i need my army to be able to move at moments notice. always leave everything on Siam, and leave either China or India open (not owned by you) so you have a path for your army to take if a kill opportunity opens up.

alright thanks...another question on the same topic - Is it better to have your armies advanced as far as they can or should you keep them within your borders?
For Example: on the classic map if i own SA and one opponent has all of africa, if i break him then should i defend on brazil or north africa?

North Africa, but keep some on Brazil, so he doesn't get lucky, break your army in NA, and have easy walkings to take your bonus.

if its escalating, you shouldnt be breaking africa when you own sa, youll only get fucked in the long run. hold back and let someone else worry about that nuisance in africa, it will happen, and youll be right next door to capitalize on the other persons victory.
