dont know if this is the place to put it but i have a suggestion for the newsletter. I think that there should be an "idea" section where either you take ideas from the sticky, or get people to pm them to you. Cause there are some really good ideas in there but not many organizers look there for ideas.

I will put a link to the thread in the newsletter, unless you can think of a better way to show this. I do not want to go through and sort out all the "good" vs. "bad" ideas.

Going into the weekend I just want to remind everyone in tournament-land to get their submissions for the newsletter into me, Gozar, by Sunday night.

Also, if you want anything carried over from the previous issue, you need to let me know that as well.

I mostly like tourneys with groups. After SEVERAL games, first (about) two from every group qualify for next round. And same way to the finals...
(WC2010 Europe, which I am playing now, is about perfect example)
I don't know which option is this - "league style" or "other", so I haven't voted yet.

athough i think that the map is the more important factor for me it really is a combination of map, # of games, and game settings.

i avoid anything with escalating as only 2 of my 600 games have been that.

i have until this week avoided anything with 1v1 as i had only played the one game and didn't want to ruin my perfect record.

also been avoiding team events as i don't know anyone on this site.
