Notification of speed game start

Had a look through the forum but didn't see anything specifically on this topic, but my apologies if I missed it. Was thinking it would be quite useful to have some kind of sound notification when a speed game has started- like a beep or something. I've missed a few turns and once even a whole game because I've waited for 10 minutes then been distracted by life- purely unintentionally. A beep of some sort would be a great reminder to put the tea down and start playing!

First off, if you're going to start a speed game, be prepared to not leave to computer. Secondly, there is a notification system in the form of a PM being sent to you.

But a pm is no use if you're not at your computer. Don't get me wrong, in an ideal world everyone would do the proper thing and wait until their game starts/is dropped I know, but its a minor mistake if you forget: and some kind of beep system is a quick and easy way of reducing no-shows or missed turns. Other online gaming sites have such things its really not that big a deal.

theres a plug-in which does it in the general discussion plugins and addons forum.
