our own captain
Tr, our only captain is a cheater, him and need2beers are always in the same games together, and need2beers conviently goes at the same time as tr and deploys his troops to support him when evr tr is low. how has no one noticed this? we need stricter cheater enforcement rules, cause its not fair that i lose games to cheaters, i may as well start cheating myself!!!

oh i see. I thought you meant he plays with need2beers as a friend. I didn't know he owned both accounts. In that case he is a cheater
EDIT* Oh and dont cheat yourself. That will only be hurting the community more. Let the cheaters cheat. It may get you mad but if you cheat yourself, you are becoming the very thing your against.

they cant be good friends, they are the same account, look at how they take their turns. look at the times, they are very close to each other. obviousl, he logs in then keeps his turn going and logs in with the other account and plays like that. notice in almost all of his games either he wins or beer wins, hmm something fishy.

Dude, they could be on computers right next to each other in a computer lab or something like, if you look at a lot of the games ive played with Dgreatbroomhead it looks like that cause weve done the same in our doubles games. All I'm saying is i dont neccesrily think its multiple accounts just secret alliances, which isas you said, cheating.

Mikey,
You are accusing people of cheating because they take their turns close together? This is a very flawed system, and I guess I would fall into this categorization of a cheater then too. JonasKBlack and I live next door to eachother and we take our turns at the same time while talking on Google talk. We strategize and deploy on eachother when necessary. The object of the game is to win and doing anything that is within the rules is allowed. You need to stop accusing people of cheating just because you are a sore loser. Strategy is strategy and all that matters is that you lost. Move on and stop accusing good people of cheating.

They do play very close together in such a pattern that might be seen as one person playing tow accoutsn but look at this from the game log of Game 3995. I think thats enough proof that its not two people with one account.

No problem at all
I have to say that when I first read the post I couldn't figure out how one player was "supporting" another until I looked up the game and realized it's a doubles game.
Knowing this, it's pretty obvious that there is no cheating or suspicious behaviour or anything even approaching illegality going on here. For the record, one player controlling multiple accounts is actually a disadvantage in team games compared to two separate players playing simultaneously. The latter allows for quicker deployment and faster strikes.
Mikey...you even won game #1876 as a singles game against one of these guys. Congrats on that! They are good players!

After reviewing tr's games I will have to say I think he is a cheater. I think that he and need2beers used the account called computer to cheat. In every game that computer was in he surrendered as soon as the game started, never even taking a turn. This account had to be a second account that they were using because no rational person would join every game with the two of them and immediately quit. This in and of itself is cheating and shows that tr does not follow the rules. I think he should definitely be stripped of rank or banned from playing with beers

This still isn't cheating

This does not mean they were cheating. Neither of them gained anything by this action since "computer" was a deadbeat. Also, they did not do this in games where others were playing. The best explanation is that two friends wanted to play a 1 vs. 1 game and this was the best method of doing it. I happen to agree with them.
In sum: No gain to the players in question + no loss to any 3rd (or 4th or 5th) party = No Cheating.

I'd like to address all of you who think tr71123 and i are cheating. First off the issue of playing against the computer. Tr71123 and myself are friends who don't even live in the same state. When we first found this website we wanted to play against each other but there weren't as many players as we have now and we didn't like the fact that it took us 3 days to finish one game. So i came up with an idea to be able to play heads up. I created the computer name and then we would play each other. We weren't doing it to better our rating or to try and gain points. We just enjoyed finishing a game within in the hour. Lack then let me know we couldn't do that and that he was making some improvements to the website to possible shorten the time between turns. He also took away all the points we had earned playing against the computer and asked me not to use the computer account that i created. So i have not used that account again. We also never used that account against anyone beside ourselves.
Next about the issue of us "cheating". We have yet to cheat or have any hidden alliances. We started playing doubles game where we are on the same team. There is nothing sneaky or forbidden about coming up with a strategy together. We figure out where the best place to attack is and what the best way to accomplish that is. Just because we discuss what we should do before we do it doesn't make us cheaters. We are just making sure we are both on the same page before we start attacking random spots. There is nothing wrong with coming up with a game plan. That is why we have won so many games. Other teams don't communicate well and are not going after the right countries or fortifying men where their partner may need more men. We do...Hopefully this explains and helps everyone understand that we are not cheaters. Good luck to all of you in your games and I'm sure this will become an even better website than it already is.
Sincerely
need2beers
