Why are so many freemiums in speed games nowadays?

At the instant that the games were given, all freemium members received a message upload to their brain implants which informed them.

my premium expired the day before they gave that shit out so i got 2 free speed games even though i was buying my premium that day

free or not so free that is the question ....why they get 2 free speed games they should of got 2 more reg games ...how dare they mingle with the speed paying higher class folks

Isn't it fairly obvious? This way they were giving them something good in the hopes of them liking it so much they would buy premium. It's a great tactic really to attempt to get more free players to purchase premium.
