I'm working on a KH2 map, i want to know if it is a good idea.

First off, before you get too far into it, I'd check the legality of it, due to it being a copyrighted game. I wouldn't want you to finish a wonderful map, only to have it unplayable.

what andy said plus you shouldn't have many disney or final fantasy additions to your map that will make the copyright issues worse id stick to things that were kingdom hearts and kingdom hearts 2 originals

like twilight town traverse town disney castle etc. etc.

or you could have kingdom hearts original worlds as continents and the caracters as territories

example:

continent: twilight town

territories:

Roxas, hayner, siefer, ollete, etc., etc.

Look at the Warcraft thread, check out and see if there are any such 'user agreements'. This one might also have to follow Warcraft, and get expressed permission consent. If it doesn't, I can't let it go any further.

I'm still waiting for you to investigate any user agreements that would allow you to use such copyrighted materials.

the map would certainly be interesting

and if you want to stay clear of the worse part of the copyright issuses you should stick to the kingdom hearts games originals(if i were you i wouldnt go near any disney or final fantasy stuff the might bite your arm off :lol:
