Not going to work, Mr_Adams. It will be considered a private tournament. Not to mention that there are only 4 or 5 organizers past the 7 tournament mark. Good idea, but not for a public tournament, sorry.

It depends if you count only finished tourneys or include ongoing doesn't it.

I would suggest that if you want to run this set your criteria for half the tourney for TOs and open the other half to the public. I believe the requirement is that at least 50% of the tourney must be open to the public.

OP, your really staring to make me hate you

This is the fourth idea for a tournament that you guys have decided not to allow. I'd be above that 7 mark if it weren't for the rules :P

Then read the rules first. ;)

Or just run your idea by a TD via PM BEFORE posting it. Several people do.

It's not that we decided not to allow it, it's that you made tournaments that simply don't follow the rules set forth for the creation of the tournaments. Don't hate the messenger. ;)

With the reorganization you are free to proceed, Mr_Adams. You are now within the rules, although finding 32 tournament organizers might be a bit tough. You may need to do some PMing to get those filled up. Other than that you are good to go. Might want to think about adjusting your title, but that's just me.

Geez, I don't think he meant PM them immediately.

I was going to join, but then I saw that it was freestyle. If you change some of the settings, I'll check back in a few weeks when I return and see if there are any spots open.

Thanks for the invite. I've run 2 tournaments and I don't play freestyle, so I won't be joining unless the settings change.

Also, How are the doubles teams decided?

Sorry, Mr, but I only play doubles (and freestyle) with my one and only (doubles) partner.

If you wish to make something so specific (like for TOs) then I suggest you to go with more prefered and liked setting (for example, sequential and standard). I wouldn't have anything against a tournament TOs vs others but in this case I won't be joining.

Good luck!
