The difference between single party & multi party states

I think that the entire system of parties is jsut bad, because it forces people to vote for a party not a candidate. It becomes a battle between parties, and there is far too much compromising of beliefs. Generally when you have parties it forces people to ignore the issues to some extent and jsut vote along party lines. I voted for multy party is best simply because if you having lots of parties is better than having one, giving people more freedom to choose.

Multi-parties work better in the parliamentary style that Great Britian uses. Their executives are just the representative of a coalition of parties and can get voted out at anytime. They also have the clause where in times of emergency their powers are enhanced significantly. But then you get the Roman feel where in session everyone just yells at one another
