Brand new CC clan!!

Hi, I am wfd336. I am beginning a new clan here on conquerclub. We are calling ourselves The Merovingians. If you do not know about them, they were a dynasty of French (Frank) kings from the 5th to 8th century. These kings were supposedly direct descendants from Jesus Christ. and later the Knights Templar, Freemasons, numerous U.S. Presidents, and other powerful figures throughout history.

The only requirement to join us is to have at least 20 finished games. Rank does not matter as it goes up and down so much.
The only other requirement is to play with honor.

We currently have 9 members. wfd336, Hawkeye, colinb007,
utafar, igotashed, hasaki, cjoe, gforce,and battleman69

If you wish to join our ranks, send me a private message, and I am on here every day so I will be able to get right back to you within a couple of hours or so.

We are on our way to becoming official!!!!!!!

To form a Usergroups, there is only 1 requierment

You must have a total of at least 6 members (one or more leader(s) plus 5 or more members)

If i remember correctly, the merovingians were in the book, but were left out of the movie! (acutally i tinhk they were left out of the book too, and i just remember it from a documentary)

They were in the book, and much was said about them in Holy Blood, Holy Grail.

Not to be critical or anything, but how could they be descendants from Jesus? He had no children.
(But, this has nothing to do about your clan, I just wanted to comment on that fact. So, carry on with your new clan stuff then.)

you, my friend, clearly have not read the DaVinci code which goes by the theory that the holy grail wasn't a chalice in the traditional sense, but a metaphor for MAry Magdalene's womb, and the blood was a child of Christ. It's backed up by certain books written a long time ago that stated claims that other memebers of the church didn't like it when Mary Magdalene was named as a successor, and the roman's didn't liek the unborn kid, so she went into hiding in egypt, and they smeared her name, making her into a prositute in the bible.

note: i'm no biblical scholar, or even a christian for that amtter. I'm merely stating the premise of the book for everyone who doesn't know, now back to this yet-to-exist clan

Oh, thanks for the info. Yes, I have not read the DaVinchi Code, and i probably wont, (one im not a big reader, two, that stuff does not interest me that much, and three, if i did read it I would take it as fiction, not fact)

I'm pretty sure I'm a direct descendant of Jesus...There are some pretty big names in my family line that we know for sure including the Kaiser Wilhelm and Karl Marx so I figure Jesus is probably in there too.
