Suggestions for new maps / ideas for those of us who can't be bothered to make maps.
I've tried making one on the CAD - but I want to do a 3D map with buildings - not 2D maps of existing counties / areas. Its hard work, and can only do bits when I'm not busy at work, or not playing poker...
Post any ideas you have for a map here, and maybe your inspiration plus a load of toil from one of our map makers, will come up with a map superior to the exsting world map.....
Suggestions for new maps .....

Maps
Hm, to perhaps piggy off the Roman Empire map...any other ancient empire maps would be interesting. Mongols or any of the farther east empires would be interesting.
Or maybe since there is a popularity for doing continent specific maps, Oceania would be something fun to toil with. All the water could make a whole new type of map with many attack points, though keeping the map to a smaller 3 person or so game.
Or back even further back in time...Pangea. Though maybe those are too close together, and too much like the classic map.
Or perhaps to throw a whole new twist on the classic map, add the infamous "Atlantis" continent. Having it be special, or not.
Really none of these are very good ideas, but hoping maybe it will spark something somewhere.

can some of you map makers stop trawling through world atlas's.
The classic risk board can be perfected with territories / access points to continents
Make up a map, the world is changing. England and USA are moving apart at the same rate as your fingernails grow.
How about how the world will look in 25,000?
