Below are the rules as often used in Mafia games, borrowed from numerous Moderators in addition to a few new entries of my own creation (**Noted by the asterisks**)
1. This game is moderated by me (AndyDufresne), I am the law. Whatever I say goes. If I make a mistake I’ll do my best to fix it. All roles will be given out randomly.
2. All ‘votes’ must be in bold. If they are not, they will not be tallied. Example: Vote: Guybrush Threepwood
3. Any player may ask the mod (me) to tally up the lynch vote count thus far in the day.
4. Lynching requires a majority of the town vote, and once the majority has been reached any and all unvotes will not be counted.
5. Once your death scene has been posted, you are dead. You can no longer post anything revealing or of substance. Whining is alright.
6. You may vote ‘no lynch’ to end the day without a death.
7. The game will not be discussed outside this thread, unless your role specifically says you may do so.
8. Do notedit/delete previous posts. Whatever you say goes into historical record.
9. Day scenes will be fun and comical, don’t read too far into them.
10. ***Be attentive and active in the game. If I see you are not posting at all, I will prod all those who are inactive. If there is no timely response, you will be replaced.
11. ***Each game ‘day’ will not last more than FIVE24 hour days. I will remind everyone if the deadline is near, and to look toward voting. If no majority is reached at the end of the fifth 24 hour day, a ‘no lynch’ will be forced, sending the game into the night phase.
12. ***Similar, each game ‘night’ will not last more than THREE24 hour days. I will remind all those who have night choices when the deadline is near. If at the end of the third 24 hour day I have not received your night choice, you will have lost your choice action (I.E. for mafia, there would be a ‘no kill’, etc).
As you can see, I want only active players who will have fun and participate. The new additions may be straying from the accepted norm, but I believe this will help keep the game going, until we can get reliable and steady players.

Looney Land was a wonderful place where the great Toons of lore could enjoy their increasing royalties while relaxing in a warm and calm atmosphere. Many of the characters could be seen desert trekking, breathing easy on the farm, or simply fancying a stay in Paris. But recently the Toons have been unable to relish in their luxury. All of the famous Merrie Melodie and Looney Tune shorts have gone missing from the nearly secure and impregnable WB vault. Frenzied and full of fright, the famous Toons of Looney Land believe they might have to start acting in shorts to make due once more! The Toons know some of their own must be in on this heist, but they are split on whom has orchestrated this grievous act of greed.

Roles have been sent out today. No talking in this thread until I announce daybreak. Everyone with a night action please send a PM with your decisions. Then we can get the Day up and going!
If you read my very first post (when it was still up), I said it didn't matter if you were the first, or 30th to post. I took people in on the basis of their level of posts throughout the forum. If you notice, there are some of the same people in, but a few new ones also. I'll keep expanding the list of 'Proven Players', but you've got to show me first that you deserve to be there.
After contemplation, and taking cues from my last game, I've changed the length of the 'Night Phase' from Five real days to Three real days, as I think it will help speed up the game more. I think it still gives everyone ample time to login, and send out a night action, if they so have one.

As the sun rises over the luxurious Looney Land, the Toons all stretch and yawn, welcoming the coming dawn. Jaydog cautiously opens his eyes, and sighs when he sees the sun break through the draped windows. Phobia and Bogusbet both stroll out into the early bustle of the streets. A few other Toons follow suit and saunter on down to the local corner periodical shop. Moz picks up the latest Looney Times issue, and across the front page reads 'Speedy Stalled'. He quickly thumbs through the article below.
'Found, spring1, Speedy Gonzalez(Townie - Mason) , smeared and smushed beneath a fallen redrock overhang cliff.'
