Puzzle Labyrint-Abandoned
Here is mine new, and last map here,its not geographical or historical,and its will be refreshing for me to try something completly diferent for the end.
Mine idea is to create something like labyrint.What you think,its these interesting?

well these is initial idea,still i dont have all part of these.
Its a map with 8 starting positions,and you move to Jz(jump zone)and go to next level, colecting bonuses,and moving to Center(final chamber),first player who take all 4 central chambers win.White boxes is extra bonuses,and every player can jump in these zones,to collect extra bonuses.
Still i dont know if exist Random bonuses xml code,because these will be great addition to these map.Every territory worth 1, and start with 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10....neutrals.
If people think that these can be interesting,then i can continue development on map,also if someon have more ideas abouth gameplay,i will add if idea is good.

Good point,well like i say,im still dont have name for these map(today these idea kick me in head,and i creating something in hurry,to not forget),everybody can give sugestion for name of map and name of territories.

Will attacks work like Conquer Four? Like, can a square attack every square around it?
Unfortunatly,i dont quite follow proces on that map,and i dont play games on these map. I dont know gameplay of these map.
I whas thinking that you can only attack yours colour squares,and you will have special square to bombard,bonus squares of your opponents,ofcourse everybody will have same squares for bombarding and for bonuses.Also i think that will be one way attack.

Linear maps like this certainly fill a niche here at CC, but I will be so bold as to posit the idea that this niche may have already been filled...c rossword, Conquer4, ConquerMan, etc. I think your best ideas - and thus your best maps, qwert - have been those that come from historical sources.

Well mine idea is to create something like labyrint,these mean that you can not attack all over board-Crossword you can attack all over board-Conquer man also,Conquer 4(i dont know). These map also have objective to take Central 4 squaire.
I want to try something what no need to work any research,and no need to create Geographical borders,something what will refreash brain of all these Historical maps.
There have space to create something diferent then all these map what you say, but if i get more oppinion that these not worth,then its easy to quit.

I appreciate your desire to do something more abstract - I'm feeling the same way myself. If you came up with a visual apprroach that worked with the labyrinth theme you'd have something, but it's hard for me to get excited about squares.

Maybe you dont read all what im write,i dont have name for these map,and maybe you can contribute with that.
I dont understand why labyrint can not be in squares,why must be something graphicaly to look like real labyrint?Maybe name like Puzzle Labyrint?

Thats his response to your question about how to gain more support.
He's basically saying that you need a better concept for your map for it to succeed.
Just naming it 'querts map' and connecting a few squares doesn't make it very interesting. You need some concept behind it. Like Maze Craze is based on it being a maze. You'd need a way to make the map more than just squares that can attack one another based on attack lines created by the mapmaker.
Basically, just get an idea to go with this map. Rooms in a building, streets in some bizarre city, something like that.
A map with just squares isn't very interesting.

I say go for it qwert. While it is still a square map with lots of territories like Maze Craze, the GP is much different.
But if you want to get that many territories in a map you will need to name then similar to below.
Based on teh small map, this is jsut about the most territories you can fit.
If you want I can give you my template for the layout for Maze Craze (large and Small).
That way you don't need to redo all of the boring work of the grid. Let me know.

I have some interesting gameplay ideas,but im still waiting answer abouth XML codes,its these possible or not.

I'm torn between whether this is an idea or a draft...
...I think I'll settle with having it as an idea until you have a firmer concept of the direction you want to take (and a title!)
Once you have a better picture of what you want to achieve, we'll get you back into the drafting room
