A word about suggestions...

Post by lackattack »

First I'd like to thank the Conquer Club community for all these suggestions that pour in. I've already put in some features that have been asked for, and I will continue to do so.

I don't have time to discuss each suggestion (hey, if I spent my time talking I'd have no time for programming) so don't take offense if I don't reply about your great idea. But rest assured, I do read and consider each and every post in the Suggestions forum.

ummm, Paco, that's flattering and all, but really I don't want your soul. I may go after your wallets at some point  but you and all the other club members can keep your souls.

I hope this remains to be a free site, what we could do is just spread the word so you could get sponsors. I could see it now, Liz Clairbourn make up products popping up as we try to conquer australia

Hello!
Now in the game, the player has a 3 status: ready, playing, waiting.
A few player to abuse the playing status.

I think if a player spent more then 30 minutes in a game, the playing status automatically change to waiting status.

If somebody has a wrong connection or something else, in every game can use max. 2 "tickets", which don't change their status...

ya know, we are inundated with so much advertising each day, it's kinda sickitating. i'd like to avoid contributing to the marketing barrage and keep this site un-cluttered. don't worry, i'll make my fortune by when Google buys me out :P

For me, this club is truly great.

I was wondering if it is possible to bold the number of armies in the countries. I find the green numbers especially hard to read.

Thanks, Jeff

I like the fact that it's hard to see the armies sometimes. If your opponent is not paying attention, he/she might mistake seven armies for one or eight for three - at least that's what I tell myself when I'm down to my last seven or eight armies

Lack,

From what I gather from my brief time in the message boards, you put in all or at least most all of the work into making this game possible... so quadruple kudos to you first of all.

So would it be rude to ask for you to occassionally post a unofficial sneak peak at the "Lack to do list" so we can get excited about what's coming up, give input as to what our priorities would be, and keep you from wasting time on features that aren't that important to us?

Or maybe you think we bitch enough as it is? Either way, thanks.

I think Zawbanjito already suggested that, and I placed "publishing my to-do list" on my to-do list. But it's near the bottom.

heheh...

I thought you should add it soon and the people of CC can help prioritise things PM me he list and I'll set up a thread for it.

If he did add it, it'd probably be better for him to just make a thread and sticky it...so it had his name rather than yours.
