Some pro-furries have gone so far to say that furries go far back as to ancient Egypt. That's debatable but you can't deny that a lot of mythology has furries in it. Now mind you not all mainstream furs were designed with furs in mind.

Furries are largely a community of artists.

Oh yeah, when that first came out, I thought to myself, "Meh, I'll just see what everyone else says about it first". When I did hear about it, I learned to STAY THE f*ck AWAY. To this day, I haven't watched it. No regrets.
