2009-03-06 20:12:39 - Danyael: oh by the way i like the vancover map
2009-03-06 20:28:27 - shakeycat: oh, thank you very much :}
2009-03-06 20:30:14 - shakeycat: I did not expect to hear that! it is encouraging
2009-03-06 20:31:58 - Danyael: im glad i've been there or else the colours would be to hard to figure out due to my colour blindness
2009-03-06 20:40:58 - shakeycat: I've heard that maps are supposed to be made colour-blind friendly .. and I've thought about it. I suppose a minimap is usually most effective?
2009-03-06 20:42:37 - Danyael: its just those blues on the south east all look the same too me compared to the legend
2009-03-06 20:45:16 - Danyael: maybe a different shape like in the tripla alliance
2009-03-06 20:45:31 - Danyael: would make it friendlier
2009-03-06 20:45:47 - shakeycat: they're very similar for me too, actually. When I made the dot menu I put them next to each other so a difference could be told, but the difference is so small. I'll see what I can do.
2009-03-06 20:46:26 - Danyael: well let me look at the map again and see if a can see this dot
2009-03-06 20:46:27 - shakeycat: oooh! that's an idea. I never considered that.
2009-03-06 20:46:40 - shakeycat: the dot is the colour blob in the bonus menu
2009-03-06 20:47:14 - shakeycat: but in the menu, moreso than on the map, they appear the same, so ..
2009-03-06 20:48:46 - Danyael: i can't see it but i think shapes would be best but its all up too you i can't wait to play it
2009-03-06 20:50:37 - shakeycat: Are North Vancouver and Delta easily told apart by colour?
2009-03-06 20:53:19 - Danyael: yes its easy to tell cuase they are not right beside each other like
2009-03-06 20:55:01 - Danyael: burnaby and vancover are a little tough to tell as well but yellows aren't as bad for colour blindness
2009-03-06 20:55:54 - shakeycat: aah, I see
2009-03-06 20:58:48 - Danyael: but from my sight the only issue is the legend compared to the se
2009-03-06 20:59:28 - shakeycat: would it be better if I swapped the colour of one of the southeast ones with burnaby/vancouver? or does that not make a difference
2009-03-06 21:00:24 - Danyael: that would be perfert
2009-03-06 21:00:39 - Danyael: easy and quick fix
2009-03-06 21:01:30 - shakeycat: okay ... that or shapes, or something :) I would like very much to solve this, and others HAVE pointed out the southeast area being similar before
2009-03-06 21:06:21 - Danyael: i'll keep watch on the map and let you know what i think or if you want an honest colourblind opion let me know
2009-03-06 21:06:28 - Danyael: gg by the way
2009-03-06 21:07:25 - shakeycat: okay :) feel free to comment on the thread. good game!
