Long Story I will tell:
Round one - Sunset
The veterans of Hanul's old CCSCI games streamed in during placement, joining the fresh recruits. They were there allow the recruits the chance to train with the best of the best. Thanks to bad placement, Hanul's thailand unit was surrounded by four of Paulk's units. Thanks to good placement however, Hanul quickly took Oceania in the first turn.
Then it was Paulk's turn. Paulk fortified Fukien and tried to establish a foothold in Oceania, but Hanul's troops held, suffering no casualties. Next he tried to attack North Korea from Sakhalin, but again to no avail. Next, Siam saw heavy fighting. As Thailand was besieged in four different directions. The troops held, suffering heavily casualties, but holding. These brave troops, who recieved nothing but verbal help, held whilst listenign to
The unforgiven by Apocalyptica. They held.
Round 2 - Moon Rise
Those verbal assurances were met when Hanul's troops in Yunnan, a base north of Thailand, swarmed into Siam, taking Vietnam, Cambodia, and Burma from Paulk, while also occupying a neutral Laos. Thailand was immediately reinforced, but thankfully, had also been resupplied with desperately needed food, medicine, and ammunition. While the wounded were quickly air lifted out to the hospitals in Oceania. Troops in Kazakstan and Tazdhik were mobilized and deployed to Sinkiang.
Paulk's troops had finally won a small victory, off in the far off North Korea, as Paulk's troops made a second and successful attack from Sakhalin into North Korea. But they could not invade Hanul's South Korea.
Round 3 - Moonset
Hanul reinforced Thailand, South Korea, and Taiwan. He invaded Malaysia, taking the last piece of Siam not under his control, and adding to another loss on Paulk's troops. North Korea was quickly regained, as reinforced South Korean troops pushed into North Korea, Sakhalin, and hokkaido, eliminating any and every threat of Paulk in the North. Troops in Taiwan struck Fukien, eliminating any threat Paulk had to Oceania. Sinkian attacked Paulk's last hold in China, Szechuan, overrunning it despite a hard hand-to-hand, street-to-street fight. Immediately, most of Hanul's area's were now connected, and he began massing and moblilizing troops for the last push.
Everything was crumbling for Paulk, his war machine was breaking down. Troops in Mysore, after 2 consecutive attacks on neutral Maratha, could still not break through.
Round 4 - Sun Rise
Hanul's troops were now poised to wipe out the last 5 provinces Paulk had. Iranian fighters began a sweep, taking Afghanistan. Bengal troops invaded Nepal, overrunning it. They then took Maratha after some bitter fighting. Hanul's troop's understood why Paulk's troops could not break through. They then struck Pakistan, but did not move the bulk of the troops into Pakistan. They then rolled back struck Mysore, taking it with some difficulty, and then Sri Lanka. And then? It was over.
Paulk accepted defeat.
End Game
Hanul's troops were rejoicing. They had finally won a victory, the recruits had learned the ways of the veterans and were now themselves veterans. This was a new training method that had proven to be very successful. Hanul's staff could not contain their giddyness as they broke open champagne bottles to celebrate. Hanul himself could not contain himself. After all, this had been a complete one-sided victory from the start. The sun was once again rising, as was the flag...
I hope you all enjoyed the read, I might have left out some fortifying moves, but I think I covered it all. Long story short:
I won. Paulk lost. Took only four rounds. This was indeed an underdog victory.
