So i think instead of "?" in the gamelog it should say what country it is, IF it is within your line of sight.
I guess the part that you quoted was just an agrument i threw in there to add some further reason as to why it should be changed other than my reason of "its how fog of war normally works". With that argument I assumed that while someone was taking there turn in FoW you could see what they were doing if they are within your line of sight...can't remember definatively if I've ever actully seen a FoW turn taking place but I am pretty sure I have.
No, You have NOT seen it. Can NOT see your opponents making moves.
And you can always take a 'PrintScreen' snapshot of your turn, save it in Paintshop and you will have a complete record of your game and past turns (army posiotions etc...)
You're missing his point. He's saying when he has a territory bordering someone else, and they attack another territory bordering him, if you're lucky enough to watch the move happen, then you got an advantage because you know what happened. For example, on classic map....
Player A has Brazil, Player B has Argentina, Player C has Peru. Player A using Brazil attacks Player C with Peru. If Player B was watching the game, he could see, just as if there was no fog, player A attacking player C, player C losing his armies, and Player A advancing (he would also see how many armies were used).
However, in the game log it would still show
Player A attacked ? from ? and conquered it from Player C.
He's saying that SINCE he was bordering it, the info should be displayed as
Player A attacked Peru from Brazil and conquered it from Player C.
It would STILL be displayed as
Player A attacked ? from ? and conquered it from Player C.
for everyone else, except the person that has Venezuela, who would be able to see it as well.
Personally I think there are more important matters to address and it would take a while to code, as people's gamelogs would all be different from one another.
