Solution: Collect cans for a week or two! If you live on a college campus, or in a campus town...I'm sure you can find a large number of cans or bottles to redeem.

$20 is nothing...I recall beinng a poor college student but I worked and always had enough money to eat and drink (and pay tuition, buy books, heat my apartment, etc).......

Not being negative but $20...come on!

At roughly £10 for PM for an entire year I would say it is very good value indeed. Even I joined up and I'm a tight bugger.
The good thing about this site is that is free to play anyway (okay with limited number of games) and the quality of the site is very good compared to other Risk based games sites out there.
