Sure, but there's a plateau. Skill doesn't rise indefinitely. The Chosen wrote:1. We all have a level that we would be at if we didn't care about points (mine would probably be Sergeant 1st Class) and this level gradually increases over time, due to experience.
Some of us do, some of us don't. It depends on whether you like variety and want to experience the whole site, or like high scores and prefer to stay in your comfort zone (and I'm not talking about farmers, they are borderline cheaters). The Chosen wrote:2. Because we want fame, glory and recognition, we "play it safe", artificially boosting our rank.
You mean, if they play for points. I think being a Major/Colonel is respectable enough, there's too much drama among the General+ crowd. The Chosen wrote:3. I have maintained an upper Captain/lower Major rank for about 6 months and I therefore propose that the actual rank of a person is probably 2 ranks lower than the rank that they display to the world.
Depends on how you define "better" and "CC"...The Chosen wrote:4. This still means that Colonels (Captains) are better at CC than Majors (Lieutenants) etc...
On a macroscopic level, yes, but there are very good players who are medium-ranked, and decent payers who are highly ranked (battle royale, anyone?).The Chosen wrote:5. This means that the current ranking system is relevant and accurate at showing who is better at CC.
The Chosen wrote:6. The only important thing is that we enjoy ourselves when we play CC.
Heck yes.The Chosen wrote:Playing tournaments are a real test of ability and are great fun too!

Actually a recent study has shown that if you practice/do something for 10,000 hours you become an "expert" at it. That is a lot of improving before the plateau is reached.john9blue wrote:Sure, but there's a plateau. Skill doesn't rise indefinitely. The Chosen wrote:1. Because I care a lot but I don't want to farm n00bs.
You may think that your points makes you a better player, But what you fail to recognize is that you are noob farmer, and you got those points from beating inferior players. It's all relative, and until you raise your relative rank, you will continue to be nothing more than a wannabee in many eyes. ...SORRY.Me-Da-MiNoRiTY wrote:Why do you generalise all of us high rankers???
I play many forms of different style of games (Escalating games, Feudal games, Doubles, Trips, Adj forts, chained forts, unlimited forts, flat rate, no cards, escalating, SEQUENTIAL, freestyle ETC ETC ETC...) And yet i can still retain a high rank status.
I play casual games (only private) and i am even in a few leagues and tournaments.
High rankers are anything but over rated... The reason why most are high is because of their exceptional knowledge and strategy using of the game, Speed in freestyle games and tactics in sequential games.
Stop your low rank whinning about us being good and you being so shitty. You are not the first to just accuse us of us thinking *we are so good so we can do what we want*.
Although you did retract your comment but i did just feel to give my 2cents worth lol...

It's cool that you have a very positive attitude to achieving greatness I hope you do become an excellent CC playerTHE ARMY wrote:He isn't a noob farmer though, he plays tough games. I also said that not everyone is overrated. Now to your comment about me not being good enough to reach the top: Well...maybe you are in a higher position on the scoreboard because you've played 800+ MORE GAMES THAN ME!!!!! Duh!
Now about a month or two ago when i just got my premium my score was around 1800 and i played completed about 400 games and i remember Fabled-Integral saying that I would never reach the first scoreboard and that all ranks below Major sucked.
Well i told him just to give me time, i said give me about 2 or 3 months then see where i am. Well its been about 2 months and my score rose more than 500 points. So before you continue to state that i will never be at the top you might want to rethink your words. All i have to say about that is, give me time and i will surpass you, easy as that.
So M-D-M all i have to say to you is come back when I have the oppurtunity to play more games in about 2 months from now and i guarantee you that I will not only be on the first page AGAIN, but i will also be contending for the top half of the page as well.

I suggest that you install map rank, and learn how to use it. You are a noob farmer, or point hoarder on every map you play. If you want to see what decent stats. look like, Take a look at mine.Me-Da-MiNoRiTY wrote:It's cool that you have a very positive attitude to achieving greatness I hope you do become an excellent CC playerTHE ARMY wrote:He isn't a noob farmer though, he plays tough games. I can't help that i have been a high ranker for a long time and consistently been playing low rankers! I don't personally select to choose to play low rankers. both of you map specialize so it really shouldnt matter what ranked players you join against, you have more knowledge than your opponent so you are farming...the ranks of the people who join shouldnt matterMe-Da-MiNoRiTY wrote:I can't help that i have been a high ranker for a long time and consistently been playing low rankers! I could only see 2 games which he joined which at the point of his joining was made up of "low rankers" (i.e. Lieutenant and below).
How on earth can you call him a n00b farmer![]()
