007: "Bond, James Bond": #1 Dr. No [Winner: abel]

This is my second tournament, and my hope is to start a franchise. It occurred to me that 'Bond, James Bond' travels the world in the pursuit of his job, which would allow play on a variety of maps. Each of my 007: tournaments will be played on maps from Bond's adventures in the movie. British Isles will be the common map, as Bond's home base appears in each movie to some degree. As such, the final game in each tournament will be an Assassin game in the British Isles.

In Bond's first outing, Sean Connery was fairly restrained in his travels -- the only locations are London and The Bahamas. That allows us to ease into the tournament franchise with a simple two-game tourney. First we'll play Caribbean Islands, Standard, Sequential, Flat, Chained, Foggy. Seven 007-player games, the winners advance to the Final.

Final Game: 007-players, British Isles, Assassin, Sequential, Flat, Chained, Foggy.

You're just playing for glory in this one, although I can forsee an eventual match involving the winners from the entire series.

I'm gonna do them all. We've got great maps for a lot of the locations -- San Francisco (A View to a Kill), Hong Kong, China, Japan etc. The very next one, "From Russia with Love", will feature Rail Europe. I'm fairly excited about this series.
