Basic Info
Number of Entrants: 32 (See "Starfleet Alumni" for exceptions.)
Game Type: Standard
Play Order: Sequential
Deployment: Automatic
Seeding: Random
Round Structure: Each round (except round 5) will group 4 players on a single map with the top 2 players advancing (See "Starfleet Alumni" for exceptions.) to the next round. Round 5 will feature two 1-vs-1 games. The first will be between the bottom two players from round 4. The second will be between the top two players from round 4 and will determine who becomes Admiral of the entire fleet.
Final Ranks: The round in which a player is eliminated will determine their final Starfleet rank.
Starfleet Alumni: Previous graduates from Starfleet who attained a rank of Ensign or higher will be seeded according to their rank in addition to the starting 32 players. This seeding may affect how many players advance in some rounds. All games will be clearly marked. Petty Officers will enter the tournament in the first round as part of the starting 32 players. Alumni cannot lose their rank by participating in this tournament.
