No Clicky Maps Player Option?

How about an option to have no one with clicky maps in games with you if there is not already an option like that? It's unfair and lame if you have it and are in games with others who do not maybe. This might belong in a Suggestions section, but is that supposed to be for formal replace this with this type posts? Thai Robert does not use clicky maps maybe. Is TR highest ranking player who does not, if TR does not?

There is no way for Lack to check for Clicky maps, it's only enrichment when it's in a browser already. So this won't be possible.

if you don't yave clickies and you refuse to get clickies don't play freestyle. Clickies don't help at all in sequential, unless you are an insanely slow thinker, which clickies wouldn't help. If robert doesn't have clickies, how does that help your argument? It only shows that you don't need clickies to succeed.

Are there not three main ways to become brig or higher on cc without cheating?

- Become 1v1 freestyle expert on one or more map that is considered technical? Hoekstra and player who just dropped quite far from being conqueror after deciding to play games for fun and others?

- Have major free time next to one or more computer with internet access and be willing to be woken up by player alert alarms in escalating games with more than 2 players? Mhennigan and Thai Robert and others?

- Play team games with competent teams that you have played with for a while? Rabbiton and Chariot of Fire and others?

Only the third involves sequencial and I am a non clan member freemium with no team I dominate with perhaps. JRH, you ask a question there I'm not sure of a good answer to maybe, but I might have been giving props to Thai Robert in a way.

Note: I refer to 6 certain players there and I'm not sure what they do or have done perhaps... maybe you will check out stuff for yourself.

I agree, freestyle does require skill, so freestyle speed is a good measure of risk ability, but 24 hour freestyle is not. Once you're okay, like you said it's about being able to take your turn 24/7, which has nothing to do with risk or CC

1 yes, I think KingOfGods (the old conquerer) pretty much got his rank like this. I know, however, Hoekstra did this a noob way, he plays private 1v1 freestyle on hard maps, and he sends the invites out to people who have just gotten out of the new recruit phase. It isn't farming because once you are out of the new recruit phase you are considered fair game, but it is still stupid and immature.

2 yes, you are correct this does work and both top freemies ( and almost all of the other top freemies) do this

3 correct, rabitton does it, a bunch of generals do it, also emmdizzle, the last field marshall, does tems, but what he does is get bad players that will do exactly what he says on his team so that he gets more points, then I think he foes his opponents if they beat him.

Other ways to get to brig-
large flat rate/ no spoils games (my best ex off the top of my head is MrChangsa, but he may only be Colonel)
hmmm, maybe that's it, I'll think on it. It has to be a game style that requires very little luck

Who really cares? Either get clickies and learn to use them well enough to play freestyle against the good players, or avoid freestyle and play sequential. You can get to pretty high scores playing nothing but sequential escalating.

And even players with clickies could join, they just wouldn't be allowed to use them for the games created as a result of the group. Its generally not that hard to tell if someone is using clickies or not. Also not all people have the ability/desire to install stuff on the computer they use to play cc.

Not only do some players not like to use it, but clickies and BoB slow down my laptop when installed, so I don't use them.. It actually makes my games slower

BOB will slow down your internet a ton, also there are a few things you need to change about clickable maps to make them much more useful for playing faster. If you want send me a pm with your email address and i will send you document i have created on how to install clickies so i dont have to explain it every time i want to tell somebody how.

1. You can create a clicky-free usergroup

2. You can go to callouts in live chat to set up games with clicky free players

3. you can go to regular callouts to set up games with clicky-free players

4. you can set up clicky free tournaments

5. You can probably even convince some with clickies to play some games without clickies. I myself absolutely loved pre-clickyland because I could fly through some of those drop-downs on some maps. Id be happy to play some game without them, but arent about to give that advantage to those with clickies.

6. You could probably find a way to get clickies.

7. Dont underestimate the difficulty in using clickies. It takes some real practice, and playing well and fast is without a doubt a skill of its own that is not to be underestimated. No doubt clicky vs non clicky is tough battle for the non clicky, but just getting clickies does not mean you can instantly compete with the fastest on the site. I can keep up with nearly anyone save a few, but many are just absolutely awesome at playing it, beyond their speed, which makes every single game an absolute challenge and requires absolute concentration, planning, timing, strategy, and luck of course...and most of this happens in 20 or less seconds, after contemplating it for 4 and a half minutes or so.

Don't be a dunce,why would it matter if you have click maps or not unless your playing speed games? I can say personally I would not mind seeing such an option as it would seriously negate alot of players speed,bring back the drop down feature and let the mayhem begin anew.You must not have been around since the creation of speed games but a little information,back when they created them they did not have click maps and there was a group of players that regularly won still,they brought in click maps and it did allow a few others to compete due to speed and the fact the drop down feature is no longer used.Half these players would probably be butt cheese without Click Maps,just my opinion.
