assdoodling against high ranks is fine. It's still all luck, but you don't lose points overall. Assassin is very fun on other maps though, you should try it

If you read Hopscotcher's signature, it says he is experiencing internet problems.. So I guess we will have to wait for this group to begin

This is true. Hop has been inactive for a couple weeks now, and we are not sure when or if he is returning. I think that we give him another 2 weeks max.

If he hasnt returned, then this usergroup will need to be started by one of us i think. Is there anyone here interested in leading this group?

Perhaps, if hops comes back at a later date, we may wish him to be co-leader.

I would be willing, but am not sure exactly what I need to do. I'm sure it wouldn't take me much time to figure it out though. Just need a little time reading on how to start the clan/group up.

I am not 100% sure, but i think when you have enough members, then submit an e-ticket and you will get leader privleges. Then you will need to set up the forum. I would create:

- a thread with general rules and expectations for the members.
-a thread where the members can make suggestions about how they would like this usergroup
to function, complain about whatever they wish to, and anything else not related to games. (you dont want members creating lots of non-important threads and cluttering up the forum)

Plans to Institute:
An assassin guild where the "best assassin" can be in a laddered environment
Ranked games: for players who wish to risk the least amount of points
Social Wars: against other social groups to encourage competition

The bold ones seem most important to start. The members can discuss how many ladders we should make. For example: 4 player ass ladder, 8 player ass ladder, small map ass ladder, conquest map ass ladder, ect.

The members can discuss how many 'like rank' threads we would need. 1600 min games,
1800 min games, 2000 min games, 2500+ games

As leader, i would suggest you getting as much input as possible and then making the final decision. Probably better to start small and simple and expand as interest grows.

also, I am not necessarily endorsing skillfulsniper as the 'leader' just yet. We should all come to a sort of concensus as to who we feel would be dedicated enough to put the work in to get this thing up and running from those that put their name in the hat.

I could probably lead a usergroup, but i would rather not. I am sure there are many of you who are more passionate and dedicated to assassin games than I am.

I am able to run the usergroup, and I am active enough to run it.. But like wolfpack said, a person that loves assassin games would be better suited to run it

I am sending a PM to Hop, and will let everyone know if he responds... Unless he posts here

Lets hope we don't have to dins another leader, and we can just stick with Hop.

I was not going to take immediate action and kick hop right out of leadership, but just volunteering if he still has a bunch of issues with his internet. And there are a few of us who really want this to get rolling.

I agree that we need to come to some sort of consensus on how the forums will be initially set up. I hate the unorganized forums for each small topic that are posted. and especially if they never get used after a few days or weeks.

How about someone (I don't care who) just sends in the e-ticket, and as soon as we get our forum, we post the elect a leader thread. Also, we tell people not to start threads until the full-time leader is selected (it doesn't really matter if some idiot starts one or two threads anyway). Then, the full-time leader puts in all of these things to organize the forum and stuff.

I know how to do all of this leader stuff, idk if anyone else is a usergroup and/or clan leader. I can send in all of the etickets, but I have no interest in being the full time leader of a third group
