Truth be told though, manual freestyle speed singles (your forte) doesn't lend itself at all to a clan environment as they are all settings that simply don't get used.

Get some more experience and develop a passion for the team aspect and we'd be happy to entertain a future enquiry.

Sorry qwerty, we've just taken a couple of new guys on board and have finished with recruiting for the time being (unless someone very exceptional comes along).

In the meantime you might want to consider premium membership and get yourself a few team games going. You seem like a nice kid and some of the crappy ratings you have received seem very harsh - you're always civil & helpful in chat. Not sure about your strategy of attacking one player just because he's a colonel though - you might want to change that, lol.

Good luck getting more experience. It won't be hard if you find a player you can get along with and trust and start teaming with him as a partner. Before you know it you'll find a 3rd and 4th and enjoy the site a lot more once you play team games rather than the pot-luck that is 1v1.

You may be right mate, though we don't wish to close our doors entirely. We always welcome enquiries from players who believe they can bring something special to the table and for that reason we will always be recruiting to stay competitive

I'm looking to join a clan to meet some new players and play some team games. I haven't played too many(got annoyed playing with random people), but the strategy seems fun, and I'd like to get into it more, so i picked out 3-4 clans to see if one is a good fit for me.

hi guys. if you're still accepting applications i'd like to throw my name in the hat.

what can i bring to the table? a dedication to the game and far too much free time during the course of a day to spend playing CC. my rank hasn't dropped below major in the last 6 months or so, and has risen to colonel a couple times. although my team experience is limited so far (12 doubles games with 9 wins/3 losses against equal or higher ranks), i communicate well in game to the point of being over-talkative and feel that triples and quads wouldn't take too long to get the hang of.

i would hope to learn a lot from the rest of the clan, since playing with/against more skilled players is the best way to do so. i also look forward to the competitive nature of the clan, and the challenge of playing against some of the other clans' heavyweights. up to this point most of my games have been auto, sequential, chained/unlimited, flat/no spoils/escalating, sunny, though i'm certainly game to learn new settings.

although i can't contribute whiskey or nude pics of myself (trust me, a blessing), if accepted i could instruct other members in the ancient martial art of toe-fu. trust me, that's one little piggy you don't want to mess with.

I would be interested in joining the clan. However, I do not like speed freestyle games. I do not think skill in this site should be judged by how fast you can click but on how well you plan and think strategically for the long run. If you can accept someone who does not play those games, count me in.

Basically you just described what clans want. Speed and freestyle are skills that are extremely limited in the clan spectrum, as both are excluded from the most part from basically every challenge to date. Team games and chemistry with clan mates are skills that will increase your chances of getting in anywhere. Best of luck.

TOFU are delighted at the character and performance of their newest recruits (Elfish_lad in May, cachejob & sonicsteve in July). All are performing superbly and are an integral part of the dynamic TOFU line-up.

If you think you have what it takes in any of the fields of gameplay, writing, artwork or comedy then we'd love to hear from you. All applications will be given careful consideration and honest appraisal.
