Update the map .gif on the homepage

• Having the same maps up there the whole time is lamesauce. Also, there are only 9 maps on there and that doesn't really reflect the amount of mappage on this site.
• It's a pretty quick fix...all you have to do is update the picture

I think that when the homepage graphic was first made, lack had to get the permission from the mapmaker before they could put it there and not all of them gave that permission. That's why there are only a couple of maps besides the original 5.

But when was the last time it was updated? I'm sorry, but I know there are much more visually appealing maps than "D-Day" and the "Far East". I mean, Natty already said he WANTS his maps up there, and I'd really love to see WWII Europe by qwert (that map just looks awesome) and a bunch of others.

SO many maps have been created since them...we should at least contact the mapmakers and see if they'll allow it.

They all ready have permision to use maps, and its will be nice that at least one mine map be in home page. Also i notice in other several sites that they use mine maps to display,without mine permision,and these mean that copyright its look that not worth here.

Well, here ya go. I'll post in the OP too. I took what I thought were the most eye-appealing maps and obviously this can be changed. I didn't ask permission from all of the mapmakers yet, but I didn't see the point if this sugg gets shot down quickly anyway.

Also, I'm kind of hoping that the white in the image can blend in with the white background on the homepage. I'm no wizard with GIMP and it can probably be fixed, but I'm unsure on how to.

Or create a script that fetches a new map image and truly randomizes the gif displaying all images there in random :).

It's simple to do, takes very little time to implement and shows that suggestions are actually listened. Hope it gets done!
