There is one started in Forum Games, I have two threads open...The Warlock's Boots and the Warlock's Rescue...there may be spots open, but it would be nice if somebody else opened their own thread, that way I could join as a player. DMing campaigns is a lot of work actually, especially in Play By Post. Plus, we don't have the luxury of a dice generator, so the DM has to pretty much do all the rolling.King Doctor wrote:So, are we starting this game or not?

The First Edition AD&D player in me still considers that an oxymoron. Then again, the 1E rule that magic items failed in the hands of a dwarf was not always the best feature of my dwarven characters. We are playing by 4E rules so your race can be any class they want. Dwarves actually make decent Warlock's do to their high Constitutions, but most opt for Clerics and Paladins. I currently do not have a spot open for a Dwarven Magic User, I am looking for someone to play a Dwarven Warlord named Rothryn Avnvilheart.rockfist wrote:Can I play a Dwarven Magic User?
Not to get into an Editions debate, but 4E allows races to become any class they want as long as they fill the ability requirements. Seems right to me, Dwarves should be able to practice magic, although it might be frowned upon by the Dwarven majority.

I gave up on purchasing new editions because 4th edition seemed to cookie cutter compared to 3.

Oh, hell I've played probably 50 or so characters...I can count the non Dwarves on one hand...hence the Avatar.
