Because when you have options - you need to support each of them. And it gives much more work for admins - they will add less features this way because they will spend all teh free time supporting your options.afroaction wrote:why can't you just have an option to enable or disable whatever format you guys choose? This way if the the user is not happy with the layout then he/she can turn it on/off when ever the want to? Sounds simple enough to me?

I disagree, the screen isn't too crowded as it is in my opinionlackattack wrote:I'm reluctant to that, the screen is already crowded and it just feels wrong to print redundant informationMrBenn wrote:Would it not be possible to keep the spoils information where it currently is for all games (with the card icons if people want them, and then add the teammate spoils to the table for team games? I think this compromise is actually workable.![]()

Sorry, but this is wrong. As Bruce said - not many people can keep such an easy info as 4 names+colors in their head. People like to waste time to look at them instead of remembering them ;).rellik1975 wrote:why are people lazy?????? use the mouse or dont use the mouse.... either way you will need to use it... anyways you only use your spoils in the begginning of your turn..... not like its an action game with constant action going on like a first person shooter.... quit complaining and have fun playing.... there is way too much complaining going on in the real world to be bringing it in our cyber world

Some people like to plan their moves. For example, if you know you have x spoil, you may wish to take that region in order to capitalize on the +2 drop at cash.rellik1975 wrote:why are people lazy?????? use the mouse or dont use the mouse.... either way you will need to use it... anyways you only use your spoils in the begginning of your turn..... not like its an action game with constant action going on like a first person shooter.... quit complaining and have fun playing.... there is way too much complaining going on in the real world to be bringing it in our cyber world

No.But you know.. once the system programs in a way to show who has which spoil, is the next round of add-ons going to enable a player to see his opponent's spoils, too?

Get real. This info is not exposed anywhere on the site.stahrgazer wrote:But you know.. once the system programs in a way to show who has which spoil, is the next round of add-ons going to enable a player to see his opponent's spoils, too?

Yeah i agree hovering over the cards would be a big hassle that dosnt really give any benefit that i see...Bruceswar wrote:lackattack wrote:Why? This version makes it easy to see where they are on the map.Orange-Idaho-Dog wrote:What he said.the.killing.44 wrote:I still want my cards under the map.
Because people want to read names rather than have to hover over some 1/4 in cards to see what they have.
Agree and raise you one: having your own spoils show like they do now, helps emphasize which ones you own, and is more immediate need. Hovering over teammates can be done between-plays while you examine the map to plan your own play.ljex wrote: At least for your own spoils, im fine with having to hover over my teammates spoils to see what they are so that it saves space
