Hmmm William Steig wrote the original childrens book (picture book).

Screen play was adapted from that by Ted Elliott,Terry Rossio,Joe Stillman and Roger S. H. Schulman.

So that would be the first names William, Ted (Theodore?), Terry, Joe and Roger.

Seeing as the question was about the book, then probably just William, come to think of it.

why are all the games on weird maps? shouldn't there always be the standard map option?

Guess all the standard maps are taken. The earlier rounds have not been just on the standard map. Perhaps the next rounds should be random, by the way? Or perhaps I should not suggest that, since the maps may then be on different railway type of maps, which I'm hopeless on. Or maps with a terrible colour combination.

Personally I prefer Classic, New World and Feudal Epic, although the Age of Realm: Magic is fun too. I lose more than I like on that map, though.

That made me think of the following question:
If one has chosen a map and don't get any opponents who want to play against you, what do you do?

Sorry for shouting, but I'd like the question to be noticed.

Ouch, some of the top seems to be out allready, and if HA looses his last chance in R7 he is out as well.

If by "standard map" you mean classic... I've seen quite a few games on the classic map...

{Just went to Game Finder to double check, and it's even more than I thought.... there have been 2861 games on the classic map in this tourney.)

But they are among the first to fill, so if you don't get here fast when the round starts, there might be none left.

Just wait, they'll get joined. People tend to hop into the occupied games. That way if it's FoW they can get a look at the map before their opponent and it means that they don't have to wait for someone to join.
