Signing up and posting your ranking points gets you into both of them at the same time ... welcome aboard!

All added up to this point ... also please do not post your Rank Score updates ... it would be a lot of work to keep updating for everyone's current score at any given time ... the points are just a starting off point to try keep the number of points lost during the tournament to a minimum so that everyone can concentrate on having a great time instead of worrying if they might lose their level.

sorry guys ... but if you sign up you are in for BOTH tourneys ... I am waiting for an exact number of players to signup ... if you do not accept your invites when they go out ... after 2 tries I reset the game with the others and the games continue .. you are out of that tourney.

Win it .. stay in it ... lose once or miss the invites and you go home!

Hope everyone is in it to WIN IT !!!

I will add the latest addition Saturday.

OKay ... we are not getting any more signups ...

So I am going to alter the total number of players so that we can get the 2 tournaments off the ground.

Instead of the games being played with 6 players ... I will be going with 6 groups of 25 players, with the extra couple of players who have signed up being used as 1st round backup players for if there are any players who do not accept their invite in time.

So there will be 25 players in each of the 6 groupings in Round # 1, Round 2 will include the winners from round 1 playing against the other winners in their own group. The Final game will be a 6 player winner takes all!!

Everyone still on board ... I will mark this post as full if we still have the 150 players needed this weekend. Until then if you are having 2nd thoughts please ask to be removed from the list.

Reserves are still being accepted but they can only get in in round # 1 .. once the 1st round gets underway and we have full games their will be no other players added.

At this point we have 3 reserves ... they are those already listed in the main player listing.

I always thought 216 was ambitious, 150 seems more do-able.

However, instead of switching to 5-player games (many people prefer 6-player Classic over 5-player Classic) why not change the format slightly, so not all losers are eliminated?

For instance:
First round, with 150 players and 6-player games, 30 winners advance automatically to Round 2.
From the losers, 6 names are randomly drawn to also advance, so you have 36 players entering round 2 and you again have 6 X 6-player games.

The Conquer Cup went through a very similar downsizing, and there were a LOT of complaints. Many people have built strategies for 6-player on this map and HATE having the two neutrals in there.

(Not that you don't have to worry about me. I'm in no matter how you do it. I was just giving advice.)
