I'm going to back tnb80 up because he does have a point, and I know that point. He can't finish his point if mapmakers don't help out and provide this basic information.DiM wrote:thenobodies80 wrote:trust me DiM, there's a point.DiM wrote:and the point is?
If Mohammed will not go to the mountain, the mountain must come to Mohammed.
it's not that i don't trust you tnb, it's just that if there's one thing CC doesn't lack, that's promises. we've had lots of things promised to come "in the next update", "at the christmas update", "in the next X months", things that eventually never came and there were always petty excuses like "not enough time", "maybe next time" or "we decided to not do it for god knows what reason". so yeah, maybe you know something we don't, maybe you were even promised something but don't tell me you still believe in santa
so until i see his fat ass coming down the chimney i'll remain a skeptic.
if the point is to gather all this info then come up with a plan and a suggestion and present it to lack asking for map classifications and categorizations then all i can say is: "good luck but i'm not gonna waste my time for something doomed from the start"isaiah40 wrote:I'm going to back tnb80 up because he does have a point, and I know that point. We will see....some are already on this thread. The missing ones, i think we can write them together as soon i can easily understand what are the descriptions we miss.natty dread wrote:What about mapmakers that are no longer on the site?
No,trust me that isn't the point.DiM wrote:if the point is to gather all this info then come up with a plan and a suggestion and present it to lack asking for map classifications and categorizations then all i can say is: "good luck but i'm not gonna waste my time for something doomed from the start"isaiah40 wrote:I'm going to back tnb80 up because he does have a point, and I know that point. Btw if you had used all the time you spent to write the last posts, you'd already finished the map descriptions!

Let's just say that something is in the works rights now. So please do the write ups for all your maps, so the thing tnb80 is working on can be done.DiM wrote:thenobodies80 wrote:No,trust me that isn't the point.DiM wrote:if the point is to gather all this info then come up with a plan and a suggestion and present it to lack asking for map classifications and categorizations then all i can say is: "good luck but i'm not gonna waste my time for something doomed from the start"isaiah40 wrote:I'm going to back tnb80 up because he does have a point, and I know that point. not really, but even if that were true, it would still have been wasted time, whereas my posts had the purpose of expressing my thoughts.
so it's not about time per se, but rather about the way that time is spent.
