Moderator: Clan Directors

IMO, clan world is what makes CC running. most of hard core players are here mostly because of clans.ManBungalow wrote:So...how many CC players are directly involved in a clan?
And how many of those are active?
I wonder if we could make the clan world more accessible?

Well, the last update of F400 has 42 clans registered, and that's not including Atlantis, Agents of the Chaotic Empire, and several other new clans. So we're closer to 50 clans.qwert wrote:i know this from CL5
33 clans
registered- 876 players
played games-705 players
But that is including a few clans who don't play also. I think 42-44 is about right.Arama86n wrote:Well, the last update of F400 has 42 clans registered, and that's not including Atlantis, Agents of the Chaotic Empire, and several other new clans. Sounds about right. If I make a rough guess at the average number of people/clan I'd say 28.chapcrap wrote:But that is including a few clans who don't play also. And 1000-1500 is not a conservative number. That's definitely the higher end.
So do AFOS, even after the departure to PACK.Keefie wrote:OSA have about 350

You don't talk about it, but you add a point, the tournament scene, that keeps interest if you don't want to get involve too much in a clan.Serbia wrote:I've grown to mostly hate the clan scene on CC. This is the opinion of Serbia the CC user, not Serbia the Tournament Director.
Bollocks.

You're absolutely right. When I bought my first premium membership (for $20 back in March of 2007) it was so I could join tournaments. Since then I've been involved in tourneys throughout my time here on CC. In fact, of my 4,473 completed games, 3,926 (roughly 88%) of them are tournament games.QuikSilver wrote:You don't talk about it, but you add a point, the tournament scene, that keeps interest if you don't want to get involve too much in a clan.Serbia wrote:I've grown to mostly hate the clan scene on CC. then why people repeat, like they not heard good?Arama86n wrote:We heard you the first time qwert, but not every clan is playing in CL5.

How long / posts would be interesting as well. 30k compared to 20k but which started up before the other and how long where they around.Leehar wrote:I had an interesting discussions with Cav earlier. Apparently TSM have 30k posts in their forum (as a barometer, thats more than we have in Announcements)
I know at Empire we had only made it to 20k, it'd be interesting to hear what other clans have as an indication of activity levels

You mean tournaments?DoomYoshi wrote:We should invite players to clan wars via email that haven`t played on the site in a while and start the games without them ever logging in. That would be more accessible.
