GM Script: Watch this game - Version 1.4.4

When I click on the Watched tab, my watched games are laid over my active games, so I can't really tell what's what.
Any idea what could be causing this?

EDIT: Now, when I click on the Watched tab, nothing happens.

looks like they did somesite changes to mygames page

i'm still having issues with the games not loading all the time. it's kind of aggravating, but i guess i can't say much because i have nothing invested in this fine script.

basically,
i click watch games and sometimes i get;
1.a message that indicates the games are loading that never actually gets loaded.
2.i get the games to come up but it doesn't show the player names, just the number code for the name
3.the name comes up but the image for the map is not there.
4.all is fine.
i would say the most frequent of all is #1 and the next most frequent being #2. while #3 and #4 is kind of a treat to get.

is this not affecting anyone else?

i had the valentines issue, too. but it's gone. i still have this problem tho'. i remember kuma having the same issue. but i've never heard anymore about it.

i didn't remember seeing a fix.....i just looked back and couldn't find it either. unless it was this;

so i

1. uninstalled "watch this game"
2. restarted my browser
3. re-installed "watch this game"
4. restarted my browser
5. watched all the games that i was previously watching (36 total, 2 of those are completed, none are wating)

and i guess i could say it's working "slightly better" but it's still basically doing the same thing.
it freezes up on "processing game log"
or, doesn't show the player names.

it does work some of the time. i'd say about 1 out of every 5-8 times i try to open my watched games.
which i guess is better than not having it at all, but i can't understand what may be wrong.

i use firefox. i'm not having trouble with anything else.

this is the latest version by dako. it uses my fix. so the newest is the best. but i think the problem may lie in the api changes.

well, that's a shame because this script is gnarly. but i completely understand how you feel. and don't blame you a bit. maybe someone else will get on it. i'd do it but i don't know anything about it. so i guess my tournament organizing will have to suffer.

today, i can't get it to work at all. sometimes it works every now and again, and other times it wont do shit.

i wish i knew whether or not i'm the only one having trouble. maybe it's my computer or something.

well, i'm kind of scared to post this,,,, but so far, all day, my "watch this game" has not messed up a bit.

now i'm sure it will start messing up again.

My 1.4.4 has been working w/out a hitch. Every once in awhile instead of the names on the right, i just get the game numbers but when i reload the browser, it works properly.

i've been running now for several days without any issues.

not sure why things are fine now. but i'm just happy they are.

I tried using this in chrome. It seemed to work fine as far as watching games but it seemed to play havoc with my in game actions. When I began a turn my troops available to make a move would not show. I would have to leave the game and renter to be able to complete a turn. After removing the script everything went back to normal. Not a complaint, just as info.

im not to familiar with this script. and i cant really test.
what would be best would to only have them and see if they show up. or if you add 10 more if they show up.

To follow up on this, it appears 200 is the limit of what it will show. You can watch more than that, but until you get under 200 they won't all appear.

All of a sudden my watched games aren't showing up anymore.

I see:

"These are games you are following.

Games you are watching

...with the icons in the legend, and the bar with the list of criteria (Game Type, Initial Troops, etc.), but below that is just white.

Any idea what the problem could be here?

check the console. thats your best friend when figuring out whats going wrong.

Checked my console, this is what I got:

Use of getPreventDefault() is deprecated. Use defaultPrevented instead. jquery.min.js:3

The jquery.min.js:3 was a link. Clicking that link brought up a TextEdit window with a whole bunch of code that I can't edit.
At the top of the window (where it usually has the document name) it says: "Source of http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jq ... ery.min.js"

Any ideas?
