I have replaced Newguy, so this game can finally get moving again. Never claimed on my first post before, but seems like it's required here lol.

I am now Henrike– Town Busdriver. Unfortunately, since new guy wasn't around much apparently, he missed sending in his action so no-ones been busdriven yet.

I've mostly been keeping up here but not playing 100% attention since I was killed, so I will re-read the last couple pages and summarize where we're at so far in a couple minutes...

Ok, the people left alive are:

1. virus90 - claimed Dorothea - Town Vigilante. Seems believable, but not provable until the night
2. Anarkistsdream - says he can't claim, can only be investigated at night. Not sure what to think about this... possible mafia godfather who knows he'd be cleared at night and thus wouldn't have to try to fake claim?
4. new guy1 replaced by Hotshot53 v2.0 - claimed Henrike– Town Busdriver. due to newguy's absence, no-one's been busdriven.
5. Nebuchadnezer - no claim yet
6. jdean1 replaced by Metsfanmax - Villem - Kamikaze won N2 Lucky guy screwed the rest of us, retired now
9. safariguy5 - claimed Lenart, the town cop. Investigated kgb and nos, both innocent. Hasn't been counterclaimed by another cop, so seems believable
10. Lootifer - claimed Gloria the Town Encryptor. Can now talk to Anarkistsdream and nagerous privately. No guarantee of orientation, but seems believable
13. kgb007 - no claim yet - safari says he is cleared
14. nagerous - no claim yet


Lootifer... do you know nag's and anark's roles? Is there a legitimate reason for anark to not claim? He seems the most suspicious to me at the moment, from his apparent inability to claim, and from his trying to hurry things along a bit much.

I'd like to hear neb's role claim next

Both Nark and Nag have claimed to me. Narks may very well have been involuntary due to his role, er, requirments.

His claim/role is very odd. He has been consistent with what he has told me, and what he has said in this thread. If he is a godfather type mafia role it's certainly not the usual form of the role - my gut says he is what he say he is (including being town).

Nags claim fits with the setup and doesn't contradict any other roles that I am aware of; that's all i'll say for now.

New guy missed both his night actions? That is kinda crappy, not 100% convinced on that one.

This is something that I have considered as well. If the busdriver claim is accurate, I feel better about my odds of living through the night, I'll have to think about my investigation target more carefully.

Okay, I'm next. I am Bozhidar – Town Deflector. I basically choose a target every night. If I am targeted by a kill it gets deflected to my target. Otherwise I do nothing. I do not deflect any other actions. To me, basically, I am a bulletproof townie, with a slight chance of vig.

N1 – NoSurvivors. I think I documented my suspicions of him D1 and N1. I figured he was good target should I be targeted.
N2 – NoSurvivors. I still wasn’t sure whether he was town or mafia. His play was shady enough that I still thought he was the best option.

Next up? KGB007...I don't want a delay if I pick Nag, so KGB it is...

yes you did and i respect that, but thats why i said 1 of you, and not both. since i want at least some prove that the 3 of you are not scum. Loot is/was my biggest scum lead for the day, so his cleared guys not claiming and being proven, is not adding to his case in my mind.
so if nag is back and he claims, thats fine by me. but first of KGB cause nag might take a while

Sorry for the triple post, both nights I protected saf, reason was on the D1 run off he was consistently voting for me bc of my stance on no lynch (I was right btw) and if he didn't make it thru the night, I assumed it would look bad for me, make sense?

That does make sense. Unfortunately, it is very easy to say you protected someone who is still alive. Pretty good cover unless someone investigates you.

That does make sense. Unfortunately, it is very easy to say you protected someone who is still alive. Pretty good cover unless someone investigates you.

I did investigate him on Night 1. I investigated him precisely because he was gunning for the no lynch.

And No lynching Day 1 with no information is still the incorrect play. Confirmation bias or not.

I have never seen a town role that can't claim... the fact that he welcomes night investigation still makes me think he could be the mafia godfather, or at best some kind of weird third party role. And his posts today have sounded more scummy than towny, to be honest.

I will wait for nagerous' claim before voting, but right now nark seems most scummy to me, and I wouldn't be completely surprised if nark/loot/nag weren't all mafia just hoping to convince 1 or 2 others to just follow their lead as they have "cleared" each other...

That's right, you can't find a time... I am ALWAYS town... And I act the same in every game.... whether that is meta or not, it is still true... Just like stereotypes have basis in reality, so does meta...

There is nothing to show you a difference in gameplay because I am always town... in fact, I usually end up being Vanilla Townie... Tracker track me. Watcher watch me. Cop investigate me... whatever. I am town, am always town, and will always play aggressively and vocally.

Just because the coin landed heads 99 times does not mean it will land heads the 100th time. I agree, you are very good at being consistent in your play, but nothing says you can't be scum this time just because you weren't scum the last 9 times.

Ok don't have much in the way of spare time to post at the moment but the long and the short of it is:

a) Dont lynch nark, it'd be stupid
b) I need nag to post and claim; his claim may stir things up depending on how people interpret it.
c) I have not cleared Nark (though I am fairly certain he is town), and I certainly have not cleared nag. As I have already said I have no way to know their alignment with any certainty.

We still have a bit of time so I won't claim on nags behalf, but I will if required.
