@joak here's the post where DB claims he's the survivor & if he was when I checked him out crasp would've told me he was 3rd party player not a townie that's why we think he's the Godfather & he would then look innocent to me & come up townie as he did
@joak - I based my assumption that KE3 could NOT be a paranoid/naive cop on the fact that crasp said we would have relatively normal role assignments because of so many newbs in the game... It clearly states in the role descriptions that it is VERY unusual for there to be a Paranoid/Naive Cop if there wasn't also a "normal" cop in the game. At this point we would know if we had 2 cops.
While I will acknowledge it is still possible he is a naive cop, I think its FAR more likely that DB4 didn't realize his claiming a thrid party role after KE3 had already reported he was a Townie would trap him in a lie.
In other words Joak, we can assume the remaining mafia member in the game is the godfather. When a cop investigates the godfather the mod tells him he is a townie(thats the godfathers special power). While this info could could have raised suspicion that any of us the mafia godfather, when DB4 claimed 3rd party he basically outed himself as liar. There is no way that KE3's investigation of DB4 would have returned as "town" if he indeed was "3rd party". If DB4 was 3rd party the report would have stated 3rd party. If DB4 was mafia or town, the report would have come back town only. Basically either DB4 was caught in a lie, or the mod tricked us poor town folks (if that is the case I vote Crasp )
Anything is possible, only some things are likely. Lynch all liars!!! (except white liars(not white people who lie, but people that say lies which dont hurt anyone))
I believe you have some bad game information Mook. When a cop...no matter what kind of cop, investigates a person, the only resulting report should say guilty or innocent. There should be no other information about that parties role give. That would give away the third party players identity!!

The resulting report when you investigate a player doesn't say guilty or innocent the Mod tells you Town,Mafia or 3rd party. It doesn't give you their role just what group they are aligned with. We'll see what else crasp has to say about this matter, But I think we caught DB4 trying to stretch the truth a little. That's why my vote remains the same.
Things have been sorted out. The cop can either find out the exact role or simply the allegiance of the player. When I mod I give out the exact role, except for the secret part that the player doesn't know himself like if it's a cop then he won't find out if he's a crazy cop or not. Crasp decided to go with the allegiance only. So here how this would work:
When checking on a townie role you would know he is town.
When checking on a mafia role you would know he is mafia.
When checking on a 3rd party that is neither town or mafia like the survivor or the serial killer, you would know he is 3rd party or neutral.
When checking on a killing role like the vigilante or the vengeful townie, you would know he is town.
When checking on the godfather you would know he is town.

Because.....he had become a pain in my rear!! lol. I had plans for everyone else, as you know Crasp....that is until the reporting snafu....which blew it!
I wish I would have known about that reporting choice...I would have claimed differently. Crasp, you could post the night time discussions for everyone's benefit before next game if nobody objects. Great job modding buddy!!
