To date since joining Conquer Club I have now taken turns in :
GBR Italy USA France Spain Holland Turkey India Australia Thailand Vietnam Cambodia Malaysia
I plan on adding Indonesia and Singapore to that list over the next couple of weeks. I have passed through Belgium and Canada too but not stayed long enough to take any turns so I don't think they count.
Who can beat me? I am sure there are some businessman out there who have played their turns in even more countries.

I hate using a sitter. If I have turns that need taking, I take them. So I always travel with a laptop, and will seek out a McDonald's just to take my turns, because that's what I do.

If you're traveling for a vacation leave the laptop at home and enjoy yourself. CC will be here when you get back.

Joined 2011 and almost 7000 games completed... have you been outside much the past few years?
i started playing cc in my 30s, i ve definitely not been going out as in my 20s, and i probably visited more countries than you. I ve played roughly 2000 games per year and 2/3rds were speed games, i rarely have over 15 games active.
i've visited 8 countries (all in europe) but i have no idea if i took turns in all of them. i doubt it, since i never played too many games and i always made sure to have little/no games active during vacations.

That's not possible. Even while on vacation I respond to work emails. And if I'm going to do that, I might as well take some turns. When you've got fewer than 10 active games, it's not that time consuming.
