It is true that I used to play under a different name when I lived in Spain. I was persuaded back to play by a friend who is still very active here. It seems that I should have used my original account, but I didn't think I was doing wrong when I set up a new one. What should I do now?

Open an E-ticket to adress the issue, they might be able to just delete this account and get the premium on that one, but jeah, you should have played on your old account!
I can vouch for GreyGoblin. He has not been active for over year and only just returned. I think he set up a new account living in a new country and figuring the old one must have been deactivated. He has never done this before and is not playing the accounts simultaneously.
I hope something can be worked out. I have been trying to entice him back into Conquer Club for the past six months.
I hope he will be treated in a fair way. I don t think the multi hunters could figure who he was though? Mostly if he has a different computer. My guess is that CC not only checks for IPs, they drop cookies on your browser to identify you. But if you move from spain to uruguay and change computer, unless you admit like he did, there is just no way to get busted?
Yes, it is true - in hindsight, I should have used my old CC name. I have changed both computers and country, as you say - I guess the give-away was when I started beating people who have played for a long time - it's fair enough that they think something fishy is going on as I appear to CC to be a newbie. I'll open a ticket and see what happens.
