reagarding pershy @betiko.- He is not someone who is gonna post a load of posts, but when he does they are usually succinct and helpful HOWEVER, not posting much leaves him susceptible to mistakes in the few posts that he does post..I think this pershy case is compelling.

I can't tell you who, but someone got information from the outside talking to player X who visits cities and gets to know how many antitown are in there (he visited king's landing night 2), player Y tracked the same player X night 2 and the result was that he visited you pershy. There was a result of 1 antitown in king's landing. Now out of the 4 players alive in king's landing, why did the result come up as player X visiting pershy? You confirmed that player X indeed visited king's landing by admitting you were part of that town and I think it's our best lead today.

Player X visits cities. Player Y didn t know that and tracked player X last night. He asked him today why did he visit pershy. Player X said he couldn t visit players but cities, and he went to king s landing last night, where he learnt that there was just 1 antitown there. Player Y says he double checked with storr to see if there was no mistake and storr confirmed. So this isn t sure to work, but we decided to make some further checks in here. No one knew if pershy was from king s landing, so I came in the thread to ask him if this was true. Had he not been from king s landing our reasoning would ve been bogus. But the theory is that when player X visits cities to find antitown, he visits the antitown themselves. Had he found 2 antitown in king s landing, and player Y had seen him visit only one person we couldn t have jumped to this conclusion.
As you can see, this is not a sure thing, but there is at the very least 1/4 chances that pershy is antitown in the first place, so adding up this strange night 2 results combined of player X and Y, this definitely sounds like the best case of the day.
Pershy has the chance to come up with a good convincing claim now, but given all the votes piled up on him and the little time left he d better do it fast and remember what happened to mtam.

I'm willing to believe what you say about what happened, can't think of a reason why you would tell such a big lie. I think it more likely that player x would talk to someone of the same alignment to get that info - but even that doesn't add up as how would the person s/he talked know who was who within the city? Player X claims he is town and that his power is to visit one city per night and he gets as a result the amount of antitown living in it. He does not talk to people in the cities he visits, you just made that up. Who player X s character is is none of your business, I don t know it either and I don t need to know. He had no reason to tell all this.
If it is true I plan to discuss what next with the rest of Kings Landing. I wont reveal everything as there could still be a mistake, like I wont say my role. If it isnt true, I will reveal thenames of any unclaimed KLers and make my case as to which I think is scummy. In that case, I have to think that your informant is scum.

If pershy ends up being scum or an anti town third party, then it will be pretty likely that king s landing will become 100% town.
Isn t lover something where if one dies the other one dies? The title of the day is "did he bang her?" I admit I would have to look back, but from what I understood maergery had to marry the 3 baratheon kids (tommen, joffrey and mycella). Could she marry stannis baratheon too though? Could it be that maergery got targeted and stannis died for being her lover? Also can all town win together or are there some internal fights for power? People like jak seem to be quite interested in power..

I cant see player x lying as it was so easy to check. kind of been through that in the city. Not saying he isnt. just cant think why. strange one though but so is everything else in this game.

I'm confused. X went to King's Landing N2. Y tracked X N2, and got that X visited Pershy. How can player X visit a city and a specific player? Something doesn't add up right about that. Okay, I've seen the explanation...seems odd to do both...and quite honestly, town has this game in the bag with these complimentary roles. The only question is...how do we keep them safe?
Will wait for Pershy's claim...let's see if get another botched effort.

Man, so there is a big wagon against pershy from betiko's post. I'm just worried about it because it all seems extremely sketchy. But this is a big lie if its untrue and betiko is risking his own ass if its false.

@ neb; good remark. That's what we've been discussing about within the dread fort pretty puzzled. As I said before, Y first came up asking why did X visit pershy N2. X said he didn't, that he visited king's landing, not a specific player, as his role works like that. Y triple checked his role and double checked with storr to see if there was no error, and storr confirmed that the information he got (X visiting pershy) was correct. We are not sure of the mechanism, and X visiting a city looking for scum would likely end up with a tracking of him visiting the scum player. This is just the theory to explain the strange results within the dread fort. This is why we need pershy to show up and defend himself with a solid claim!!!

1) English is not my mother language and I used a french expression that makes little sense in english. Nevertheless, wether it s an informant from the outside of from the dread fort (irrelevant for you to know, FOS for fishing for this type of information) you seem to understand that it was something discussed in our town. So when you say that "at no point did I mention it was in our city thread" you are totally skimming.
2) If a mod tells you player A visited player B as a watcher or tracker result, you assume it means the players know each other and had a little chit chat during the night? How can you jump to this conclusion?
