Not directly. When I was little, my mother dated a guy who worked out at the same gym as Lex Luger (former pro-wrestler), my uncle and aunt met Torrie Wilson (former WWE Diva) in Boise, and a family friend met with Nicholas Cage this last Spring (even has the picture to prove it).

So personally? No. But do I know people who have? Yes (much to my chagrin).

Talked to Lewis Black backstage after one of his shows, went to the show with a former NYC bartender that knew him from way back. A very quiet guy surprisingly when having a normal conversation, though still fairly obscene language-wise.

I used to know some of the guys from the 70's band Glyder, who had a moment of fame, and then another one as The Pinkies, who were involved in some payola scandal...
You probably won't have heard of Lol Coxhill, but he's a wonderful sax player who you've probably got on some albums at least as a session man - and I think I'm the only person I know these days who's even heard of Kevin Ayers (RIP) who deserved to be better known. Old Brit hippies will be impressed by the fact that I met Roy Harper (and introduced him in my one session as an announcer man). Big Band era fans (and fans of the improve show "I'm sorry, I haven't a clue") will be impressed that Humphrey Littleton once bought me a pint - he was trying to chat my Mum up. There's more, but they get even more obscure from then on...

I live in an area with pretty much no celebrities. I can't say I'd be all that excited to meet many. Steve Miller used to live in my region, though I think he moved away before I was born. Bruce motherfuckin' Campbell has or did live nearby as well, and an acquaintance of mine said he saw Bruce drive by once. He tried to say hi but Bruce flipped him off. Which was cool, the guy was a douche anyway (the acquaintance).

i met jc chavez when he was in his prime, in our store we have a gift section, he was vacationing here and it was his sons' bd. i followed around with garbage bags and he was putting stuff in it for his son and his son's friend. biggest sale i ever made, he was trying to be quick so people didnt crowd him, i remember it was over 5000 pesos, at that time probably like 500 dls. that was like 15 years ago. or more.

i also met ana gabriel, she's my cousin's godmother, i also knew yolanda andrade when she was still famius, her and her gf at the time, the blonde that was miss mexico or miss mexico contestant, i dont remember.

i also met benjamin gil, he was the ex-bf of a girl i liked, though she was old she was superhot, i met him at a party. i also met esteban loaiza at an after game celebration, because a friend was a teammate gf.

i expect none of you know who they all are and i dont care because i dont know 90% of the people mentioned here.

Funny story bout that....I was hanging with his son in a bar next to the small concert venue he played at....we BS'ed and told him I'd seen his dad 15 times in concert...he thot that was cool and said Hey let's go meet him....took me back to see ol Arlo and we chatted and had a nice time....asked for an autograph but only had the shirt on my back...asked if he'd sign that....he was happy to - turned around and it was a Ruger shirt (Arlo TOTALLY anti-gun....lol)...scowled at me and his son said Come on dad!! He signed it but said it was the first and last auto he had ever given on weapons memorabilia...still have the shirt...

Have another one that Randy Bachman signed at a concert right after I had hernia surgery....auto says "Nice Hernia Barrett!"....lolo....he seemed pretty cool....may have been the beer and vike.....

Ric Flair was okay, saw him at my old favorite restaurant before it closed down. He and his lady had a table right smack next to ours. We had some back n forths and our ladies talked about something then went to the bathroom. When they got back, he did not look my direction again.

Carrot Top, on the other hand, met him walking down the strip in Vegas. I wouldn't have thought much of it, but the hooker he had on his arm was a perfect freaking 10. They invited me and my bro out for drinks and extacy. We declined the x, but he thought it would be funny to slip me a mickey, but my bro had my back and said the slip was kind of jokingly anyways. Then they got all trashed like 8 minutes later and invited us back to their suite.
