It certainly has a new and distinctive personality, but I'm not sure it's "immediately recognizable as being in the same family" as the others. So now you know what we want:
The same, but different. Different, but the same. In other words, create a logo that is immediately recognizable as being in the same family as the others, but at the same time has a new and distinctive personality.
And I still wonder about this rule:Dukasaur wrote:It is a rather beautiful piece of art. I scored it in the middle of the pack. High points for being very good-looking, but lowered because it's too far from the original. I guess the other judges thought otherwise.
There is no quote about changing it or cropping it, but well, what can be done now... they're breaking their own rules, what to say...We also have a set of guidelines governing signatures - these are in accordance with CC's general signature guidelines:
The signature must include a copy of your actual cup image from the stamp picture (must be the same cup).

Obviously a majority of judges loved it, so don't worry too much about the minority rumblings of a grumpy old man.Ronaldinho wrote:I take all the comments about my entry onboard. I guess if you're going by the letter then i've probably skimmed outside the guidelines given. I don't know what to say other than if you want me to edit my entry slightly then it's fine - But i'm guessing its all finalised etc. Don't know what else to say really.
