This is a thread for middle of the pack movies that you can't actually suggest, but you might if there was a thread specifically to suggest middle of the packers.
The Witches of Eastwick Backdraft Absence of Malice The Remains of the Day Come Back, Little Sheba American Gigolo St. Elmo's Fire The Big Chill Steel Magnolias Broadway Danny Rose
The Witches of Eastwick was mostly filmed in my home town when I was a kid. It was fun when the little town was taken over. My principal from school and some classmates are extras in the movie.

Well, I consider it one of my favorite movies, but it seems to be relatively unknown, so I'm going to suggest K-Pax to this thread.

Done with the site. The moderators' lack of interest in supporting their own guidelines has finally driven me off permanently.

Yeah, I still wander back from time to time (probably once per quarter or so) to stick a dagger in Phatscotty's ass.

I think that Phatscotty enjoys it more than you do.

<chuckle> You may well be right about that. It seems like every time I wander back here, he's mentioned me in some thread where my name hadn't been discussed previous to that.

He loves thinking that he has defeated you in an argument, and he thinks he wins every one. It's a dangerous combination.

Tonight I saw The Company You Keep. Not a particularly good movie, but not particularly bad.
What I loved, however, was all the bit parts given to some of my favourite actors of all time. Nick Nolte, Susan Sarandon, Stanley Tucci, Sam Elliot! What a dream. Four of the coolest of the cool!

Thank you for the emoticons before the names of the movies. What is the definition of middle of the pack? For comedy - A Mighty Wind gave me some good chuckles. Foreign Flicks (at least to me) like Ip Man series, the Divine Move, Battle Royale. I don't know the criteria for middle of the pack.

I assume it means not bad, but not great.

Battle Royale for sure Millennium Actress- I can't get people to watch this because it's anime Waltz with Bashir- not anime, but animated. Grizzly Man- amazing doc, but tough to get people to watch.
