Sugar in cereal

Postby mrswdk on Thu Nov 30, 2017 7:53 am

Kellogg's refuses to keep selling Ricicles (33% sugar), says too sugary and fat children need better breakfast:

A banana and oatmeal with milk. If in season, I throw in some berries into the oatmeal as well.

Who selected 'only water'? Obvs one was saxi but who was the other.

I eat regular cereals. Usually weetabix or bran flakes, but sometimes I mix it up with corn flakes or even apricot wheats.

At weekends I might have a cooked breakfast with egg, bacon, black pudding etc. but not during the week.

Sounds like a surefire way to ensure he wets himself at least twice every afternoon.

as if saxi drinks water for breakfast, mrs - the guy lives off hot pockets. pretty sure he only uses water to obsessively wash his towels & bedding.

Why is 'Continental', ham & cheese?
I thought 'Continental' meant something like: café au lait et un croissant.

That is known as a whore's breakfast.

I was going to ask it be added to the options so Llama could pick it.

Now, now Waauw,

I drink a pot of coffee, 6 over easy eggs fried in bacon grease, bacon and toasted whole wheat bread with butter and strawberry jam. After that I switch to beer, chew on my cigar and think about what I'm going have for lunch.

When I have time I hunt beaver and chew on bushes.

That would actually be pretty cool, but you probably eat yogurt or something, though.

I eat real food for breakfast.

Either:
  • baked salmon, or if time is short
  • canned salmon, or when I'm bored of salmon
  • cheeseburgers with hot peppers, or if time is short,
  • chicken burgers BLT-style

When I can find it and the budget allows, I prefer wild-caught Chum, but most of the time either I can't find it or can't afford it. Wild-caught Pacific Pink is what I eat probably 70% of the time.
