Haha not especially, though IXS or simply XS is the most common. And haha it's actually a very old gamertag from AvP Gold - Immortalis because i was very arrogant (though admittedly also good) at that game and was showing off, XS because that was the clan I was in

dakky, I too agree that that was a bizarre post, though i agree that the means of killing was likely simply flavor. however, one note about this comment:

there are NO VTs, as per strike wolf's original proposed game structure (emphasis mine):

Basically each player would be a power role but each power role would come with a potential 'screw you' type catch.

Why would you like to discuss it at all?

Because some non-important talk can be useful later. For example dgz mentioned a setup with 3rd party, it can be just an assumption or it can mean he is 3rd party and/or knows there is 3rd party in the game. Some talk is ok, but I don't want 3 pages of it though as I already said because it just makes it harder to re-read later. That's it.

I know in my games I intentionally made it where those that tried to "play" the mod would have a hard time since I would give the scum a fair cover they could use or it could be a unique setup like I did with the Civil War where no one knew what was going on With that said, it is a lot better to reread when there is not too much cannon fodder in there about just speculation of the game setup instead of trying to read what is actually happening.

But what is actually happening? Nobody's dead (except poor Ga7 - God rest his soul), and no one knows anything except their individual roles and scummates. We can and will do baseless votes, but there's not much to be learned from a re-read of day 1 if it's just random votes flying back and forth. I'm not saying I want 3 pages of speculation about the setup, but while any player could have any role, there are practical limits as to what would work in a game, and I don't think it hurts to discuss it.

I'm just used to town of salem setups where there almost always is 3rd party.

If one disregards the fact that in every game, everyone has the same chance of securing a scum role, in order to follow your reasoning, wouldn't it make more sense, given that aage has been scum twice, that he wasn't scum this time round?
