But Pepe being surprised DDS is the mason is a bit weird, he was accusing me and Max of being the scum pair yesterday, so he must have thought DDS was the mason.

Except although I didn't realise it at the time (thought it was just very funny), I think this was DDS hinting he was a mason.
There was a point I sorta perceived the hint right after I posted something and I think pmc questioning my play/tactics at one point suggested he'd got the hint but was questioning what the hell I was doing with my post.

Point I'm trying to make is I think PMC guessed a lot earlier and was working in step with me and DDS for quite a while after.

But it is a good general direction you are discussing max, and it is in mind much more of a coin toss between Pepe and PMC than I thought it would be

Actually perhaps my post should have started AND instead of EXCEPT except your post and the fact that I only was considering Pepe and Sonic for lynching , would have given Pepe almost as good a hint that DDS. was the other mason.

I think it might boil down to this:
If PMC is scum he has played extremely well
and would have seen DDS as more of a threat than me
If Pepe is scum he has played better than I have given him credit for so far. but why couldn't he lift his game and kill DDS instead of me. It's probably the smallest lifting of gameplay.
I personally can't pin a scum badge on you max right now, but right now I'm sooo confused

Me questioning looses play was me questioning why you would push Max day 1 when he was your Mason buddy. I assumed at first DDS was Mason, but loose heavily hinted Max was the mason.

Anyway I was round DDS's earlier today, to pay my respects.
And I wanted to pick up the the famous sword because that belongs to me now right?
I mean its for the community yes but it belongs to me, right?

Looked everywhere, couldn't find the sword.

What I did find was something in a recently posted envelope from his lawyers.

Didn't want to look, I knew DDS would have left me the sword in his will anyway, but the will sort of accidentally fell out the envelope and I accidentally read it.

Damn fool lawyers had only posted MY WILL to DDS by mistake....

Ok, honestly not mad about the claim. I feel like this game is highly solvable.

Possibilities I am considering
Traf + Max
Traf + Sonic
Pepe + EW

I kind of think it has to be Pepe because I don't see Max - EW or Sonic - EW. I guess DDS could be scum, which would through off all my possibilities.

Here you can see, I am pretty sure DDS is the mason, as I have removed him from the possibilities in my list.

Given that I only had 3 possibilities and Sonic and Pepe were 2 of them, he was, to me, heavily hinting to get off of Max.

He then later said it explicitly. Sonic believed it was Max at one point. Not saying that I would have bet on it being Max, but I certainly wasn't sure it was DDS. Admittedly, the kill is good for my chances of not getting lynched in the same way it was for Max; LC was clearly pushing Pepe.

Max pushing me I actually town read. I mean, I think its pretty dumb, but Pepe is the easier win condition.

what I thought Town should do should there be a correct lynch D3 and I die N3, aside
from being a morbid premonition of my death, did not perhaps contain an ulterior motive.

Let's play a thought experiment. You come into the game late, you have accumulated a bunch of votes, you are in a wolf faction with the most experienced player here, EW. EW, has no heat, he has no suspicion and he is extremely talented.

You decide to post this as your second post in the game:

Wait, so there are 3 Factions, right? Masons the good townies, Werewolfs and Mafia. Werewolfs and Mafia don't know the other faction members right?
It can be 2 guaranteed kills on the night. but might not be a townie as factions cand hit each other I guess.

Yeah but just in case people misread you: town is a faction, mason is a neighbourhood within town.

The two evil factions need to eliminate the other faction too, this game can technically end in a draw for all 3 factions.

Helpful EW = scum EW. This game is easy. Three posts two scum (not aligned with each other).

And then say this:

EW is probably scum, but pointless to try lynch him. If you are in either evil faction just shoot him. Cause if he is town he can catch you when he pays attention and if he is in the other faction he has high chances of guiding his team to success.

I am lock town, even if I do say so myself.

Did you read the second post where I give instructions to the mafia to kill EW? I am bold, but I ain't that bold. EW is a good player and I wouldn't risk killing him to gain myself cred when I was under suspicion and he wasn't, especially since that cred wouldn't mean anything until all of the mafia were dead and two of them were still alive at that point.

My initial suspicion of Pepe was based on the theory that the Traf/Pepe interactions looked fake - at least I couldn't understand why Traf put a vote on Pepe and Pepe appeared to lean into the teammate on teammate fake accusation hypothesis.
But now we know Traf was teammates with Sonic that part of the suspicion goes up in smoke.

That leaves the I still say illogical voting/pushing of Max as a lynch target.

That basically sums up the case on Pepe now - I think??

I think I'm perceiving a lot more evidence against PMC right now.

I actually think PMC is a good enough player to start a string of quick posts with a suspicion of Traf,then a post suspecting EW then follow up with a lot of genuine casual read posts quickly.
PMC just needed to get the post on Traf and EW out first of all, then go into freeflow.
The "alibi type evidence" of the string of posts isn't cast iron.
I can post quite quickly at times, and PMC is a better player than me.

Apart from anything else PMC, you would have been correct end of D3 that THEN Pepe was my no1 favourite for being scum.
1DDS was a lot less clear about it.
2 DDS set the trap (because he was curious who would follow) that gave pretty cast iron proof that Sonic was scum.
DDS would as you might see it be a better kill target than me.

I'd be more likely D4 to go for Pepe again, and DDS had proven he was clever.

Pepe's only reason for going for DDS would be to disguise it was him who was the killer.

Thats 2 v 1 reasons to be more suspicious of PMC than Pepe right now.

All of the posting between PMC and Sonic as to what scums strategy should be - seemed like a game of testing each other out as much as PMC testing Sonic out.
Could easily have resulted in PMC concluding better be rid of Sonic rather than risk Sonic killing him.
There was the option for PMC to go for Pepe.
I think the what should scum do N3 would convince a scum PMC that he should try to hold out for a Sonic lynching if possible.
(all the throwing suspicions on Sonic was convincing because Sonic was scum.)

I am actually fucking mad. I can barely read your posts. I get it, it's part of the game, but come the f*ck on. If I am so good at the game, why on earth would I urge the other team to kill my good team mate when it doesn't even help me until the entire other scum team is dead?

Having a reread and devante death is interesting, because here are his last posts:

Not much really to go on since there's a lot of fluff so far but anyways here are my thoughts so far:

Lean town
EW - based on posts so far seems townish
Devante - Because I am and regardless of what was said far better looking then Rags
Loose - aside from the bad accounting leans town
Rags - Annoyance aside seems to be working for towns benefit

Neutral
DDS - has swung back and forth for me but for now neutral
Sonic - a bit all over the place but no swing either way
Kong - tends to be more active late game so neutral for now nothing jumping out
Strike - was going to lean scum but I think a lot of that is from Sonics posts so neutral for now
Traf - not much here to go on so neutral

Max - but again likely from all the hate on and knowing the lack of possible participation, however seems to be more active this game and makes me think he might have a role rather then last couple games was town and stayed out of it pretty much
PepeAtila - something about the voting and posts so far don't sit right with me but he's new to me so could be how he plays don't know

With that said I'd be fine with voting either Max or PepeAtila myself

I have got to the end of day 2, and it really does feel like Pepe.

Pepe and EW never interact with each other, EW is a helpful player and Pepe is new, they post at similar times and nothing.

Day 1, dev accuses Pepe and ends up dead.

Day 2, both EW and Pepe are voting for traf, town doesn't bite, sends rag over then EW kills traf.

Trafs last post before hammer was:

For now I am pretty sure Pepe is Scum as I've said many times

He wanted a lynch then he decides not to hammer as he know that would make him inta suspect and decided toc ast a vote on me for no reason.

It could be coincidence, it could be that EW pushed to kill his partner day 1 and then he single handedly decided to kill traf, but it would be a hell of a coincidence. And it feels like, Pepe is always responding to what people consider scummy, here traf says, "scummy for not hammering " and he immediately hammers, day 3 sonic said, scum would now accuse me to save themselves and he never waivers in support of sonic, even after sonic turns on him.

Then there is Pepe's overall scummy weird play days 1 and 2, there was a lot of suspicion on him following people around.

My hesitations are that DDS seems like a Max kill and Max has seemed a bit different this game.

There is also something about Pepe having terrible ideas most of the game, but somehow he was on traf day 2 when almost every other player was on rag, so was EW and the ends up dead mafia. Easily explained by EW was talking about his traf suspicions in wolf chat.
