f*ck all to do with me, do your own work...
The site moderating team destroyed the best tourny on here and now this. GTFO of my inbox.
"how dare the moderating team moderate and make tourneys fair/prevent abuse!!!! I'm so furious!!! You'd think with so few players they wouldn't enforce rulesssssss. Ugggg"
In kenny's defence, the message starts out with an accusation of him inviting players, to later requesting for him to inform the moderators if he did actually invite the players or not. It sounds like he didn't. I probably wouldn't be too happy if I received that message and had sent no invite.

Go back and reread the first post. "We noted that one of you have invited opponents"

what i'd like to know is how many are premium? we pay for this site so are our numbers increasing, decreasing or stagnating?
I think the number of premium users has been reasonably stable for sometime. The number of free users has decreased as can be seen by looking at the members list and guide games, far fewer new members and guide games have dropped significantly

Running scoreboard only counts players if they completed 20 games in a month. It therefore doesn't count most new players (who are more likely to start as freemium to check the game out), nor does it count active players who intentionally keep their game count limited (I've never appeared on the running scoreboard, despite definitely being an active player in the last year). But if you lose ~1500 players (the difference between January 2022 and now on the normal scoreboard) who each play a few games a month, that's still a lot less games getting filled, and a lot less opponents for the very active players on the running scoreboard.
But even ignoring that, it should worry you when you compare the same month this year with last year. We lost anywhere between 3.4% (comparing June) and 8.5% (comparing October) of the most active part of the player base in a year time. A year ago, the number of players on the running scoreboard was around 1100. It will drop below 1000 somewhere next year, and if trends continue, it's unlikely that we see any month above 1000 in 2025.
June 2025 gave 947 results on the running scoreboard, where you need to have premium to be able to get on it. I fear the number of premium users may not be as stable as you seem to believe.
It is SAD when some of the most Frequent posters are BOTS that are here to snare unsuspecting innocents with the unsavory offerings. Is this more evidence of the decline of CC?

Just to note
In October the number of active users went up by a huge margin, yet the number of guide games continued to decline, indicating that it is returning players and not new users.
catstevens: you are now an honorary American TG...Congrats
