edit; also, for the record, phersm, jim, and riskmaster find themselves in a 3 way tie, i can't break it til the round is over, i will tally all the wins for each player they beat, and that will determine the ranking order. i'm sure there will be another instance or two as well.

I think you're very well locked in for round 2 actually. It is tight at the cut line, but you're at the top of the 7 win group.

scores updated, only 2 games tho. basically, the thing is set, only game in balance is b00060 vs deebeepee.

b00060 is in win or lose, but he'll move up 2 spots with a win, he's the cows tail with the loss.

we still have 4 active games we're waiting for before i can finish off the tiebreak ranks, it's important for scoring.

what i said, wasn't entirely correct, actually, if youonkazoo wins both of his games, and b00060 loses his, you on kazoo will bump him.

ok, i kicked off round 2. games created, invites sent. scoreboard updated and that is the final result for round 1.

a few things to cover.

1. shoop and loentik still have a game underway, the result will not change anything, however i predictied loentik should win.
it won't change the final rank for round 1, nor will it change the round 9 tiebreak results.

2. the 9 win group was deep and muddled, i posted the result schedule in a spoiler tab underneath the scorecard. phershm and jim tied for last place in that group, but since phershm beat jim he got the bump.

3. the 7 win group had a distinct pecking order established, so no need for a tiebreak group.

b. b00060 beat madd and noleafclover
c. madd beat noleafclover
d. noleafclover didn't win against any of the above 3 (obviuosly)
so that closed out the top12

4. for the remainder of the tournament, the rank for the previous round in regards to the overall position will determine any tiebreak scenarios.

5. also, the next round only the top 8 will be scored, and there will only be 8 to advance to the final round. but the overall position will determine who advances. meaning a player who scored high in round 1, but maybe only got to 9th place in second round will still have enough points to bump a player that placed in second round. just to be clear.

to be clear, the above, should read, that the remainder of the tournament, tiebreaks will be decided for each round, first by current round headsup matches, then the previous round rank will determine the ultimate position if any ties still exist after your headsup match results.
